Tank radio operator, better info in Research

1. Tank radio oerators should work similarly or completely identical to Radio operators on foot. Of course with the basic abylity to call down only artillery. There should be added anh adicional component inside the tank “Radio” witch is destructable, and when destroyed the artillery cant be called down, and this component should be fixable from the inside.

Propably more tanks shoud have acces to this, unless it is totaly historicly inacurate that the tank didnt had a radio, many more, even early tanks should be able to, propably after an squad upgrade, enlist radio oparator that can be put into a tank. Radio operators should be able to replace any non-skilled based position (Driver, Gunner, Loader) so machinegunners, curent Tank radio operator and commanders could call in artillery.

2. The research tree in a good way how to see what lies ahad of you, but the “More info” lacks enought info in my opinion. When looking at a vehicle, with more info, it should work same as in garage, giving you acces to the Armour and X-ray buttons. This way I can check what armour has my furute tank and where it crew is even before I have it in my squad. Yes I can go to the garage, but I whis this would be fater if you are just browsing the research tab, and it is just another option.

Similarly with the info about a new squad, I would welcome the abylity to see the upgrade tree for the squad. It is just a way to give more info about the squat and it future abilites. Just to be able to see what supporting classes the squat will have accest to and what weapons/vehicles it will be able to upgrade.

Give tanks Arty, Hhmmm

for the more info, if you click on a thing, on left hand side there is a more details tab

Also if machine gunners, idk… machine gunned?

Not a good idea for me, it would instantly make the radio team pointless to exist. Also not historically accurate.
We could refer to Steel Division 2 and make some artillery observation vehicles, which could be armored vehicles, jeeps or tanks, to get the ability to call in artillery strikes. The problem, of course, is that the current game’s maps are too small to support a large number of off-field support strategies.

I concur, I’d rather they made the radio operator AI control the bow MG and protect the tank in its frontal arc from any approaching infantry.
