The haul machine could operated by the bot. It pretty useless like thin and inaccurate and like this is only a weak spott.

the haul machine gun will be interesting to be used by the driver. still, the bot shoot it has well will be interesing has well.

The haul machine gun is ussualy used by the radio operator_ like you can see in the furry (movie)
Actually, instead of bot operated, I feel it could be very good to make usable in driver view.
i would prefer it to eithr be fully autonomous or be aimable like a hull mounted gun
There should be an command option to the the bot who operate the haul ( haux ) machine gun : fire at will and hold fire . I dont think i nee to write why am i think this but there is it: when you ,sneak" you dont want to be spotted thats why you need the hold fire
