Sometimes in the heat of battle, the most crucial thing for tankers is to have the right shells, like AP or HE. But I have experienced this problem more than once that got me killed, which is when I tell the loader to switch shells, the bracket which tells you what shell is selected changes, but the loader keeps loading the wrong shell. So when I want to switch to AP in an emergency where enemy tank appears, I get HE loaded and gets me destroyed.
I am just wondering if this is a mechanic of game (albeit a very annoying one) or is it a bug, anyone has had the same experiences.

Oh true, never understood why this happens all the time. Its not really hard to deal with it during a fight, but its annoying to give the change ammo command twice.

because the loader needs the ammo loader perk type.
which allows to change shells but not having to reset the loading.
That’s not what he’s talking about.
He’s describing very annoying glitch that’s happening from time to time.

Its probably a bug due to low server tick.

It happens to you too? I thought it was my internet but i guess it’s yet another of the countless bugs (same as it was with plane tilting).
Fix 10 bugs and introduce 30 new ones. That’s just usual way of the Major updates

Yeah I have this bug a lot and it’s gotten me killed a few times too.
It’s not a bug; it’s just what happens when you fire your cannon so many times that your crew start to go deaf. You might then need to use sign language to communicate about reloading the shells and the order in which to do so.
With enough sign language, you can technically solve the problem.
