True and in this scenario, where the infantry attacks your tank frontally rather than from sides you most likely are playing against bots which probably dont even have detpacks.

Press X, your bots stay in place. Choose the most useless soldier.
Charge without fear of dead near enemy tank → detpack → Done.
Not to even mention if you have the AT soldier in your squad you dont even have to sacrifice any of your soldiers since you kindly drove the tank to range of AT weapons.

I don’t 100% agree with him, you were just being aggressive and rude without putting forth any other solution, not even stating that there should be no change, if that’s what you believe. I believe reducing the gray zone would be a better solution so tanks can be destroyed by infantry if they camp in the gray zone. Some maps are more difficult to traverse, but they are not impossible. With your Monastery point, it’s literally only the gate that is the issue, elsewise it is fine. With Quarry, it’s only certain parts although gray-zone camping is the worse there.
Also, none of that is proof, that’s just your opinion on the matter. You aren’t the best player of the game and I bet there are people who can work past all the things you deemed as issues. It is easier to camp in a zone where infantry cannot touch you, which can be assumed as what you due based on your responses. Still presented no evidence or facts on the matter.

This I can agree with.
I don’t think tanks should get extra points for kills. However, they should get points for blocking bullets, get extra points for destroying fortifications, and let them activate AP mines with the tank, giving points for any that are set off.
The problem here is that sitting in smoke is a BAD thing. Proper use of smoke is to block enemies’ line of sight, not your own. So instead of using it on yourself and not being able to deal with approaching enemies, you should be using it to block their line of sight, so when they come through it, they are exposed to your fire.

There is no other solution withaut a full map rework, i already wroted 20th times here that the gray zone is based on the map design is not something you change how do you like

Quarry is pit if you want use the tank you need stay outiside the pit, go inside the pit and you die because you get flanked or another tank camper kill you

IM NOT the best player but i played sufficientely to know all map good and bad, and for this OP suggestion is a shit no more or less, we have tons of this stupid idea in the past asking for nerf tank in their playable area wo always ended in nothing
Personally, I believe incentivizing tanks to leave the greyzone, and only allowing explosive packs (or anti-tank grenades) to AT troops. There are at least 6 other effective ways of killing tanks. There is a whole chunk of this that needs to be rebalanced, as the game isn’t intended for infantry to be the only useful thing. Everything should play its role, but when one thing (all infantry getting access to AT equipment i.e. explosive packs) overshadows everything else, then balance issues arise.
Let me ask you this: In comparison, how many people do you see running around with explosive packs in comparison to how many people are using AT rifles, launchers, or mines?

This is fair, I do believe that AT grenades should come to replace explosion packs and be AT troopers only. The Soviet AT Rifles are really bad at times, depending on the tank.

Google what? Which dev stated that they could not reduce the existing gray zone for a map? You telling me to google something the devs likely haven’t commented on isn’t proof.

Well the current topic is “Tank Improvements” so it’s not impossible to be added in with the other suggested changes.
Well, those are literally the designated purpose for both of those things. At this point why not remove them from the game if you don’t like them that much for doing what they were designed to do?
No, we’re in suggestions so it is meant for the developers of the game to see in order to implement into official maps. So making a custom map serves no purpose as Darkflow isn’t paying me to make their official maps like they are their developers.

I like the idea of incentivizing players to support tanks with infantry. Players should get a nice assist bonus for every kill near a friendly tank, and maybe an on screen message can pop up when a player is near a friendly tank that lets them know the tank needs support.
