No because for gameplay purpose if the game let you drive a tank in a map is supposed you can drive it, Take pacific for example, you cant drive withaut drift because the map is made totally for let tank camp on the back and let infantry take the frontline and the tank use at least for attacker side is totally forced to a point that is ridiculous
Still it work wy?
Because tank are not supposed stay with infantry but camp in the back
Rock on the offorad, small tree or big rock wo glitch the tank, some tank can compenetrate with scenary object and cant move anymorâŚ
While I dont disagree with exp buffs and what ever, I highly doubt they would solve the tanks playing from far away aka greyzone campping.
The exp buff doesnt solve the issues tanks have, shit mobility & the fact that anyone can destroy them
( Which is fine as theres another tank spawning 1 second after the first one is killed )
So in that sense these 2 factors balances each other.
If you really want tanks driving thru streets / what ever to cap point. It would require a massive nerf on AT weaponry which definitely aint even option at this point.
in some cases, but far more effective is to push up and draw aggro from defenders. yes, youâre probably going to die at some point. why are people so afraid of dying? if youâre playing your role and made an impact, it isnât a problem. death is not ultimate failure.
thatâs not an issue. tanks are very powerful. it does not require a nerf to AT weaponry. stop being scared of dying and help your teams.
It takes one ( 1 ) soldier with one ( 1 ) detpack to destroy tank that has driven close to enemy infantry. So pulling that âagroâ isnt exactly helping anyone.
As meanwhile you could be easily putting down entire enemy squads from distance.
Sure you may be able to take out few squads from close distance as well.
Differency is that from distance you can take out multiple squads consistently while at close range you have what ? 1-3 minutes max of life time.
I dont really think its because of people is afraid of dying more likely its because tank in CQC is only just little bit more useful than flamethrower against sniper at long range.
Well you sure did dent in attackers ticket pool by driving tank to CQC.
Not sure is that the impact your team needs.
And fragile.
It kinda does if you wish to achieve something else than your death while trying to drive to cap point.
it takes one (1) shot from my main gun and one (1) burst from my MG to kill a squad that has spotted me. you are aware you can shoot back, right? if youâre sat at the back, the focus is on squads trying to cap, not you. if youâre up front, more than one squad will attempt to kill you, allowing your infantry to move in. this is basic, basic shit.
map design would be the correct term. anything related to how the map looks or plays is considered map designâŚ
grey zone is the last thing dev do and cant be modified withaut change the work done before
Again
Is not a line they draw random, is something they deaw after do the math on all the previus work, if you want change the grey zone in mostly map you need change those map from the scratch
Understood? Now i leave you with @TUSUPOLISI69 i think he can give you a better company than me
right, so itâs the last change the make to the design⌠of the mapâŚ
also whatâs your source? iâd be interested to know how you know so much about DFâs map design process.
yes, because at least what he is saying makes sense and has some logic to it
