37mm has less explosives than the grenade historically anyways so nothing wrong with the 37mm
If one of those came flying throw a window, or landed at your feet, you would still know all about it. 39g of TNT is still not something you want exploding near a fragile human body.
i know but iām saying that 37mm being less dangerous than the frag grenade is historically accurate
Less dangerous is one thing, but what we have actually does nothing at all. You need a direct hit on someone, in which case I would rather have a full AP load, and just use it as a much bigger rifle!
the most they can do is set it to be the historical radius which may or may not be iām not an expert in that
Itās definitely not, because as the rounds (and the amount of HE filler) get bigger, their effectiveness stays about the same. Iāve heard that American 75mm is pretty good, but I havenāt seen it for myself to verify. Everything below 75mm is underperforming by a significant margin.
Put it this way, if we could choose loadouts the way you can in War Thunder, then I would drop all of my HE shells and run pure AP. Those HE shells are just a waste of valuable shell stowage space.
75mm howitzer is definitely better than the 37mm, but i was talking about explosion radius
Itās not the radius that bothers me per se, itās the fact that damage is not being done inside of the existing radius (assuming there is one). Often I donāt even get a hit marker, unless I actually plough the damned shell through the guyās sternum.
ah than yeah i hope that gets fixes, until keep looking towards that 75mm on the m8
So stop posting like one
Nice, so insults is all you can bring to the table. You have no argument then. Thank you.
Welcome to my ignore list!
Tanker here, a lot of you guys are forgetting one thing HE rounds do to all the players in the area even if they didnāt get hit.
Phases them so hard itās impossible to shoot a bullet straight, a well placed HE shot can have someone net you so many assists, had 98 and was inside a tank the entire game cause suppresses count as assist. Without the 50% less duration usually it lasts 8 seconds if they where in the damage zone of it or 4 if halved by the perk and everyone slightly outside is unable to do anything for 4/2 seconds. HE is more for suppression.
My best game is in a starting Stuart is 75 kills / 98 assists /2 squad deaths.
It taking 2 rounds per kill is fine imo, as things you need to know about the engineer.
an HE/AP round will kill the person and take out the AT placement
an grenade behind or beside it will kill everyone
an moltov will kill the AT placement if chucked at
an explosive will kill and destroy the placement
Also another things to compare with grenades, I canāt sit on the other side of the map and have people spot for me up close to yeet a grenade across the entire beach of normandy, but you can do that with a tank.
