  1. Machin Guns
    It would be useful if the tank commander, after exiting the turret, had the option to choose which rifle he would like to shoot using ctrl. it often happens that the commander wants to eliminate the infantry near the tank. Then he aims his external rifle and shoots by pressing SPACE kay. At this point, both the outer and inner rifles fire. It would be useful to split it up to save ammunition.

  2. AP HE shell selection
    It would be useful if the cannon did not load automatically with each shot. After the launch, the commander can choose which ammunition to load on the loader. It also gives you the ability to conserve ammunition and gives you more choice.
    There are situations when HE shoots at soldiers. The point has been taken and you have to drive to the next one. We have loaded HE because it was last used. Suddenly, an enemy tank (which is not a PUMA) appears on the horizon. We have to fire up in the sky to reload to AP. In this situation, it would be useful to leave the cannon empty to be able to choose ammunition for the situation.

Simulation Battles

  1. An interesting solution would be to create simulation battles. Something like from War Thunder. Maps open, no markings on allies. Game modes that do not focus on one building but on the entire front line. The introduction of binoculars to the commanders of the troops would be perfect for this. I think this game has the potential to make a great simulator.

this is already a possibility since there is a setting in customs called “hardcore” and it functions exactly like war thunder’s sim, especially if you put it on conquest

I have tough of an idea of a tank commander being out of his hatch and being able to use his SMG, on close infantry. That would be pretty good. As you said switch shooter mode with CTRL

There is a perk, (cost 16speed points) that allow your loader to change the ammo type while you are reloading.
And if you want to have an empty canon and only reload when you see a tank so you can switch easely, well it’s the same as shooting the current shell and reloading. Less discrete maybe… but you maybe already have a red marker on you anyway.

Just load AP if you hear a canon shot, or see a red tag ennemi tank.

what the absolute heck? ive heard of pistol ports, but come on

other than that the game is infantry based, so no to 3, u can still damage a tank with he or kill infantry with ap, so 2 isnt rly necessary, and 1 would be useful if i can do it with mgs instead of rifles and hull mg works
