So uhhh… I’m trying to put the call sign order to good use because honestly I have never feel the urge to use it until I started grinding tanks, and then I just realised the tank crew always spawned in totally random position???
What’s the point of having each crew specialized skills if they don’t even spawn in the right position in the tank???
Is it always been like this or it’s just a recent bug or any thing else I don’t know…?
Seems to be a recent bug, i’ll have a look at it later ingame, if it occurs.
I’ve used my callsigns and named my crew almost the same way (except Frank ).
Best regards!
What the inspiration behind your crews names?
basically they’re just the German names of their role, I believe, so that I can make sure they are in their correct position/role, but Frank is Frank–it’s just his name. He has mixed skills rather than specialized one, basically a reserve crew.
Frank is a battle hero
Just asking, did you use google translate? Because the correct names for each role are:
Commander - Kommadant
Gunner - Schütze, Kannonier, Panzerschütze Oder Panzerkannonier
Loader - Lader
Driver - Fahrer Oder Kraftfahrer
Machine Gunner - Maschinengewehrschütze
Oh why, is it incorrect? Could you suggest better one? I have many spare orders if you’d like to help me
Oh thank you, much appreciate!
Anytime, also I recommend using deepL instead of google translate, it’s much more accurate
The german terms for tank crew roles were correctly named.
Kommandant - Commander
Richtschütze - Gunner
Ladeschütze - Loader
Fahrer - Driver
Funker - Radioman (who is also firing the hull mg)
The terms “Schütze”, “Kanonier”, “Panzerschütze” are the lowest german ranks, provided when you enter service, which are specific for every kind of unit (e.g.“Schütze” - Infantery, “Kanonier” - Artillery, “Panzerschütze” - mech. Infantery, “Flieger” - Air force (incl.ground units […]).
It’s a littlebit tricky to explain, i guess. I had to learn this during my service in the german army.
P.S.: Yes, i see - Frank is a good one!
frank is better
