I have experienced a couple of times being shot by the commander in German tanks, by SMG.
I have looked at the setup and tried my hand, but can’t see a way to do it?

Most tanks with a dedicated commander hatch, you can press B or 8 by default I think to swap to your primary weapon, its good trap for infantry on vehicles that dont have a pintle mount.
