So, why can the player only equip 2 pieces of plant camouflage on all other vehicles? You can have a crew of 4 teddy bears, but not 4 tree branches on your tank? It is annoying, odd, and not realistic.
How am I supposed to effectively camouflage my King Tiger with 2 pieces of this?
And don’t even get me started on the prices. You should absolutely be able to use more than 2 pieces of plant camouflage on your vehicle. You can’t put them anywhere on the tanks, only in some specific places they fit, so it shouldn’t even be a big issue.
Plant camouflage is very realistic, and here are some examples.
My suggestion is that you should be able to use more than 2 pieces of tank camouflage on your vehicles and you should be able to use up to 8 decorations.
That’s not good either. I didn’t really try it out, I probably won’t buy many of the decorations or decals or clothes until the pricing is fixed. From what I know, if you get an item, you can use it once. They should be able to be used multiple times and/or on multiple vehicles or soldiers, especially with the prices they have.
Kinda hard to do that, I noticed they tried by making it difficult to place around MG ports and such, but it is impossible to completely keep bushes from covering weakpoints as there are still workarounds if you get creative enough.
This is a problem in war thunder however in this game camouflage is a double edged sword if you completely cover the front of your tank you’ll blind yourself. Ergo the cap on plant camouflage for “Balance” is kinda redundant
I totally agree, I think the cap is ridiculous. I get why they did it as it’s a common problem in war thunder. You can fork over cash and turn your tank into a rolling bush and in 3rd person it has practically no effect on the player. However here in Enlisted the camo will blind you if you don’t place it properly so what’s the point of capping it
True, but most weakpoints don’t interfer with the Cupola or gunner sights like the hull MG port, so sometimes masking the weakpoint can really fuck over a enemy tank without much drawback. It all depends on which weakpoint it is though.
No offense to anyone, but aren’t you guys all completely missing the point? People did that in real life so that they COULD f*** over enemy tanks and hide their weak spots, why do you think people are trying to employ the tactic in the current game? Blinding yourself with bushes you can see through is nature balancing itself. Realistically let’s say that a panther gets to be completely covered head to toe in shrubbery okay that will last Maybe three four rounds before somebody picks up on its location or it has to move from where it’s at and we all know where it is? All you guys are doing is proving that we need the ability to camouflage more things in game with plants. We’re in the Pacific war. Right now or a bunch of camouflage and booby trap techniques would be invented some even carrying over into the Vietnam War.
Fair, but this is a game and allowing for such things could screw over balance, and that is why they did it. I’m not passing judgement because this is too controversial even for me, but I’m explaining why it happened.
My question is if I bought these camp bushes, if it turned out I was blinded, can you go back in customization and more them or are they fixed in place and either on or off?
The only tank that blocking the hull MG really affects so far in game is the Jumbo. Everything else in game besides that has more than 1 frontal weak point. On top of this it the bloody crosshair is illuminated. Even if you can’t see the MG through someone’s camo you can still tell when your crosshair is pointed at it if you’re really incapable of finding it on your own
War Thunder is a very different game then Enlisted. There’s so many factors that separate the two games armored combat I.E the first person vs third person perspective, and the drastically larger maps. Bush camo doesn’t have the same ridiculous ability to turn your vehicle into a bush wookie like it does in WT
Depends on the vehicle. For example the Gunner sights sits normally to the left (German vehicles like Panzer IV, Panther, Tiger) or the right (M4 Sherman series) of the gun which is historically accurate. Some vehicles it sits above in a periscope view (Stug III, Jagdpanzer IV) If you’re not familiar with where the sights are on your vehicle you can always quickly jump into the practice grounds to see if your visibility is being blocked
