I think this game should have a system like warthunder has relating to ammo selection. I’ve played this game for a while on a different account, and am now playing a fresh start on my steam account. I’m now using a panzer III and have a 50/50 split between anti-tank and anti-personel rounds of which I find to negatively impact the value of a tank in combat. I don’t need ~50 anti-tank rounds, I need more anti-personel rounds to lob at soldiers. I’m suggesting a simple slider for AT and AP rounds. This would also let you carry less shells if you’re concerned about enemy tanks hitting your ammo. A secondary suggestion would to allow for custom selection of which ammo racks are filled first, allowing the player to carry less shells and carry them in less vulnerable places.

I agree. I would say that this would help stick with the historical accuracy of the game as crews WOULD carry different load outs depending on what kind of warfare they were about to engage in (more HE if on defense, more AP for tank hunting, a mix of both of on offense, more smoke if on defense).

I don’t really care if I see a tank with only 10 armor-piercing rounds.
You ask me what type of ammo I have left?
They will definitely be filled with high explosive bombs to hunt casual players
