I like my premium guns from the pseudo-kickstarter.
They’re very good, and seemed OP to have from the getgo when the normandy test started, but they’re pretty soundly mid-tier to me now.

What weapons are those again? I missed the earlier kickstarter phase
Didn’t notice that did you
And dang that’s super shady.
@8383908 what weapons you get so I can be thirsty af. :o
Kar 98 trench mag, “Mosin rifle”, and air service Springfield.
I only have the springfield. It has a 25 round 5-clip mag, and all of them are max level so they have higher damage, rof, and better accuracy than the normal springfield. Just a very good bolt action that you get 7 of.
I assume the Kar is the same, while from what I’ve seen, the Mosin is just a 91/30 with super high damage.
Kar98 with trench magazine modification. UWU I am sweating.
So the Springfield basically has a trench mag too?
Yeah, that’s why I assume they’re functionally identical.
I didn’t even know that variant existed. very cool. Would trade some jalapeno cheese spread for a couple k98s with trench mags
It’s rare enough irl that historians aren’t entirely sure on what it was used for apart from that it’s WW1 era.
The only idea that holds water to me is that it was a survival rifle for downed pilots.
The new survival M4 for airforce pilots is pretty tight speaking of which.
That’s interesting to know. Love seeing modified old weapons, especially field modifications done by soldiers like the stinger or this M3 grease gun.
Try relogging. A bunch of people got access but only if you relog on the forums.
I still wish the devs would stop making it seem like all of the premium stuff HAS to be stronger than everything else. Sure, these bolties aren’t amazing, but they are still better than the default bolties.
I like giving players the option to customise their characters in a wide variety of ways. I understand that it would ruin the immersion if people could just pick random helmets/pants/jackets to meme around. However there are ways in wich you can give players the most freedom in such customisation without ruining immersion. For example let’s take the “Tunisia German Uniform Set” we could let players choose a different kind of helmet/pants/jacket, but this has to be from the same timeframe/battle. So we could, for example, let players equip a different kind of helmet but it still have it fit the same timeframe/battle. This means that when players use the customisations menu they will only be able to pick customisation options that are historically accurate. Options that are not historically accurate to either the helmet/pants/jacket would be gray (like we now have with class locked weapons) and when the player does equip it say "The [helmet/pants/jacket] “Battle of Berlin” is not compatible with “Battle of Tunisia German Set”. In my opinion this would give players a wider range of customisation options whilst still keeping it historically accurate. This also encourages players to buy different sets or singular helmets/pants/jackets that match. I think this opens up a lot of monetisation options for Gaijin.
[WARNING, I am not a lawyer or law expert so correct me if I’m wrong.]
I have just been given access to the new monetisation system.
This new system introduces Premium time (this is something I don’t mind) and a new currency “Enlisted Gold”. With this new currency you can pay to progress in the campaign, purchase new upgrades for your squad and purchase Weapons deliveries/Troops reinforcements.
I would like to give the devs some feedback regarding this system.
Please consider this feedback and listen to what the community has come up with, it would work much better than this system.
screenshots showcasing the system:
Why are we talking if we’re not being heard?
Give us a bloody response. This is mobile game-tier monetization.
They are too scared of us
I see no problem with the monitization as it is to be expected in a Free to Play game. It was announced that monitization would be similar to War Thunder and in some respects it is.
As long as the player who does not pay is able to grind and get the same things as the player who pays, then there is no problem. If the player who pays gets something that a player who does not pay, then there is a problem.
I see one problem where the player can pay to get extra squads and I see no way for the nonpayer to get those extra squads. This gives an advantage to the paying player in that he can react better to combat situations, thus doing better and gaining more “points” or "experience. If the nonpaying player cannot get the extra squads, then this is unfair.
Next, there is the problem of paying for an item and not getting what you want. For example, you might want to get a particular weapon. You pay for the weapon and you get a random drop and you will likely get something you don’t want. This is unfair to the person paying. For example, in War Thunder, you can grind or pay for a particular item, for better aircraft/tank parts, better weaponry and so forth. You have many choices. In Enlisted, you have few choices as everything is heavily randomized. This needs to change.
I tend to think that the ability to purchase a squad with fully optimized soldiers and weaponry is a bit much and tends to give an advantage to the buyer. Of course, a non payer can obtain that squad thru many and I mean MANY hours of grinding. In War Thunder, you can buy High Level aircraft/tanks that are optimized, but you can only use them against players of the “same” level or BR rating. No such BR rating in Enlisted. At some future point, it will hard for a new player to do well because the majority of the long time players will have lvl 4 or 5 soldiers, with fully optimized percs and weapons. The only way the new player can do better without being constant fodder is to buy his way to better games.
Again, I have no problem with the monitization as long as a non paying player can obtain the same items by grinding. If the paying player has items that the non paying player cannot get, this is unfair and the game is no longer free to play but pay to win.
Thanks
There is also a question how long it takes to obtain said (functional) item. If the process is so overly long or very difficult that regular players will obtain it after months or years of playing but you can spend 29.99$ to have it now that means that you have instant battle advantage over regular players for those months/years. Ultimately the item for that period of time will be P2W until when it is reasonable obtainable. In that case “you can earn it” is a smoke screen, and some people can’t see it.
I have bought “Armed to the teeth” Founder’s Bundle before the full monetisation has been leaked/hinted/disclosed. I didn’t realise that the squads are more powerful then regular squads. I just wanted to support promising project.
It is my fault that I made uninformed purchase but If I knew what I know now, about the direction of the monetisation I would not buy them. I wrote it before somewhere, I regret every penny, to the point that I haven’t play it for over a week now. 3 out of 4 squads untouched.
Gaijin may squeeze some money from group of people but I think they are loosing large potential player base including paying players like me by predatory, mobile like microtransactions and damaged reputation.
Enlisted is the biggest disappointment this year for me (and I pre-ordered CP2077 )
I bought “only” two Premium Squads, but I feel pretty much the same. Just sad.
“premium squads are more powerful”
I should start streaming this game because I’m apparently the only one who can wipe out these squads easily.
No one is saying that they are unkillable, I kill a lot of them too. But if you objectively look at all of their bonuses they really are more powerful in current meta than squads available for not paying players.
