First off, you should get some kind of hit markers to indicate that your tailgunner is indeed hitting the mark. Some games they seem to be very efficient, other times they fire endlessly. I’ve even had numerous times where my buddy in a fighter tells me that my tailgunner appears to be landing most hits, but the enemy plane doesn’t take damage. An indicator of some kind that he is hitting the mark would be very appreciated.
In addition, I think adding Yellow and Orange hitmarkers would be of great benefit when fighting vehicles of any kind. Hitting something to mildly incapacitate it would pop up yellow. Doing high damage and incapacitating it heavily would pop up orange. Using planes as an example
Hitting something that is not crucial, and is just armor or structure damage pops up white.
Hitting a fuel line or something that will not immediately bring it down pops up yellow.
Hitting an engine to the point that it fails/ catches fire pops up orange.
Hitting and killing the occupants, or completely destroying the vehicle, still pops up red.
This way, you have a better indicator of if you did critical damage or not. There have been a number of times recently that we have absolutely riddled them, causing smoke and such, and expect them to go down, but they pop back up seemingly having repaired damage mid-flight. Not sure if its a game mechanic or something sketchy going on, but more accurate readings with the hitmarkers would be great in helping identify if something is in fact going on.
