I think they are already doing that… the last shitty competition event really made cod like players overjoyed. They just need to keep that mode permanently if only to have the leaderboard, so that those players can “flex their muscles” at each others comparing scores.

Welcome to the forum Redemption,

I agree that they need to make some changes. There are a lot of Fundamentals though that will require tweaking in order to accomplish this and not make it a mad dash to take objectives.

Weapon balancing and reduction of which weapons can go in what squad (my suggestion here)

We need an actual Match Maker, and a way to shield new players from veterans for a yet to be determined time (which a lot of games too, its proven to help with player retention when new player A doesn’t face 6 Month Beta Veteran B until they have at least a dozen or so games under their belt).

Objectives in a Map need to be spread out, and almost like the ‘grey’ where you have to take and hold sections of the map like a zone, instead of one little circle.
Now, couple that with procedural generation of Maps would also help in the mix because it will make it so terrain is somewhat unknown until you get on the Map.
One of the reasons IMO the fights are faster, is because I have the Maps memorized now. Oh, I got D-Day, no problem I know I can stash my Rally Point here, and then I’ll attack from here to get to there etc etc.
Give me a Map I’ve never seen before, and I’ll be slower, more methodical in my approach. Which then allows for the Defenders (if I am the attackers) to fortify.

You are also not wrong on rewarding other types of play. I have lamented many times on here and on my stream that Engineers and such do NOT get the credit they deserve. And Marking spotting needs to be a reward.

It is still a Beta, so there is a hope. They can’t slow it down too much or they lose clients. Too fast, and they lose clients. They need to find a balance.

I love your ideas. Hopefully if enough of us post good ideas, it will help change the game to be something better.
