T28 / T95 (Tutel)

Hello everyone

It will be viable to add the T28 or T95 tank (Tutel) to the allies??. According to Wikipedia, two prototypes were built for testing. Although tests were carried out in 1945, it did not reach Europe, they considered sending it to the Pacific, but the war ended before.

We have already seen other prototypes in the game, but since the allies lack a “heavy tank”, could it be viable to add it to the TT? what do you think? I read them

It’s the worst idea you can think of, nothing could be able to pen it frontally since it has 300mm of armor, against planes it would instantly die and not being able to drive away, so it will be the same situation as with king tiger we had for months.

And maps were not created for such ultra wide tanks (even without 2nd pack of treads you are still too wide), you wouldn’t be able to cross the street since you would be stuck at the streets corner or get stuck in a ditch somewhere or hit random obstacle/wooden japanese bridge that you won’t be able to cross.

Once you add them then germany would need to get
image and Maus of course.

Yeah, this vehicle definitely needs to be in game. Enlisted has potential to be the first game in which this vehicle could be truly fun to play.

Yes, it also would have the lowest top speed at a disgustingly low 13 km/h. It would probably take 4 minutes just to get to the objective, and your teammates would be angry at you for taking up so much space.

For reference, the M4A3E2 Jumbo, with the slowest top speed in the USA tech tree, is 3 times faster than the T28.

Also T95 was built in the 50s from what I read.

Given this information, it should not be added to the tech tree, and not even as a premium or event vehicle.

Why do you want to drive there with a tank in the first place?
If you want to commit suicide, just the option in the game menu.

Fun in every map except omer, vaux, guadalcanal, georgia, ardennes and pretty much any map where you have buildings and urban combat. This thing is wide as hell and couldnt move past the spawn in most normandy maps

Well, they could just add the version without side tracks.

But then it would be way too good. 300mm frontal plate and bigass cannon that can ohk any tank from any distance. Kinda like ho-ri but much better.

It would be extremely vulnerable to bombs + easily demobilized by destroying it’s tracks (since it’s so slow it won’t ever be able to evade EPs.)

It would definitely still have its weakness.

Plus every tanker can always just shot its cannon to force its crew to jump out.

And if I remember correctly, it has quite big weakspot behind its tracks.

Did you forget that we were “teased” with this one tank almost 11 months ago:

When they finally decide to finish it and release, this thing should be enough for USA.

its also very easy to OHK it via a cupola shot, which was the main reason I was very sad the WT community voted at 3am to stop the APHE changes. I say this as a certified Turtle enjoyer.

Yeah also this, lets get parity with the KTH first, And even then I think after that, the game doesnt need it and Id much rather seem the far more interesting lighter vehicles with an overhaul to the rider class first.

you are thinking of the MBT t95 not the td t95

While I would love a good infantry/tank game, please let’s not try to make this all about experimental WT vehicles when the basics aren’t; even working OK!
