At the moment I only have a crew of 3 men. The info says that there are 4 tankers in the tank, ditto in the X-ray. So why can’t I add another man?
did you research extra crew slot for that squad?

he probably means gold order.
if you mean that, then that is just skin for regular squad and you need to research crew slots to have 4 tankers in a tank.
There are two squads that can use the T-50 if I remember well, one of which is a legacy squad limited to 3 crew at max, so you might just switch to the tech tree squad that uses the T-50.
Or maybe you just forgot to upgrade your tanker squad beforehand.
An ingame screenshot from you might be helpful to understand the problem.

Oh right, it was a gold order…long time ago und played it the last time before the merge. Will check it in the evening.
There also is no gold order T-50 (currently anyway)
The 3-man squad used to be able to run T-50, but now it’s limited to 3 crew and T-50 support is removed.
So if you unequip the gold order T-50 from that squad you won’t be able to equip it back.
If you don’t unequip it and are ok with 3 crew, you fan run double T-50 lineup.
