Does anyone know if the T-34-85 had a stabilizer or if any T34 variants had a stabilizer IRL? I remember watching a WW2 movie and I can vaguely remember them talking about a T-34-85 with a stabilizer.
Stabilizers for the T-34-85 were tested In early 1945 when 5 tanks were equipped with the STP-S-53 stabilizer, it worked for speeds up to 25 km/h making it similar to the sherman stabilizers.

It was not put into service due to the difficulty of operation for an untrained crew, and seeing as the war was nearing its end it was simply not worth investing more time into it, instead focus shifted on stabilizers for 100mm cannons.
