The original T-34 fully upgraded is much better than the T-34 1941 fully upgraded. The 1941 tank gets destroyed a lot faster than the older T-34. I think it was a poor decision to add the same tank two levels later at level 39. I am playing Battle for Moscow.

There is only minor difference between the two t34, forward level are not always totally better than the previus some of them are sidegrade wo trade something for something else
Has better gun and that’s it.
Maaybe cause of additional fuel tanks though those things are mostly 50/50 exploding.
You aren’t camping the grey zone good enough if they can kill your T34

It would’ve been an upgrade if it has the loader’s optic that the STZ did but that was not the case for this tank. Sure this is not as noticeable but I find the 1941 gun easier to use at long range with the longer barrel but the firepower is the same
