T-28 needs an actual APHE shell

More than 2 years passed since last time this was suggested and since this still was not done, I suggest it again.

T-28 desperately needs its APHE shell (BR-350A to be precise). It is just stupid that T-28 is BR II exactly as Pz.3N or Pz.4E, which both have a decent (or at least capable) APHE shell. There is no point in T-28 still having a shrapnel shell with only 30mm of penetration. And don’t you dare speaking about better aim, since germans don’t have to aim to penetrate T-28’s paper hull (even Pz.2 is capable of it).

Just give T-28 the BR-350A shell at long last!

PS. of course this includes T-28E as well.

It already has it.

T28E uses APHE , not the shrapnel shell and seeing that both T28 and E variant are in same BR just use T28E which is better

Thank you, good to know T-28E has it.

Still wouldn’t it make sense for normal T-28 to have it as well? Making people research T-28 twice just to get a “complete” version of a tank is a bit weird. If it was an early T-28 version with KT-28 gun I would see no problem with it only having shrapnel shell since it was the case historically.

Or just make it so shrapnel shell does more damage against infantry (I tried to use it against infantry, but HE just seems much more efficient).

What does the OP make of the fact that US 75mm Sherman variants still use solid shot instead of their APHE?

You don’t have to research both I think, when they are foldered. You just need to select the one you want to research

My esteemed Joe thats not how it works I think you first have to search the none-foldered tank/plane for instance in case of T28E: it is foldered to T28 so you have to search T28 then you can search T28E or a better example is JP IV(JagdPanzer IV )which has IV/70(A) and (V) foldered to it you have to search JP IV first then the foldered ones but other than you can skip foldered ones they are not required if you try to research something higher

That would be great, make a shell explode after about 50m of travelling. Nothing like a 76mm supershotgun to brighten-up your day!
Many cannons (namely 37 and 45 mm, but others as well) had shrapnel shells in WWII.

Yeah I wasn’t sure. Have researched everything for a while…

But, even basic t28 is no slouch. Amazing infantry deleting machine.

Must be nice I still have holes that I need to fill but other than that I have researched almost everything

It is.

The game, without grind, means just enjoying yourself without needing to push for the most xp rewarding ways possible.

You want to use Lebels at br 5? By all means! You’ll not be top scorer but who cares, you don’t need to.

Just pure fun.

I don’t play USA, so I have no idea. But having a solid shot is way better than having a shrapnel shell, don’t you agree?
