Those were never supposed to be issued to tankers, that idea came from post war advertisements to sell similar models to civilians. Garands were never supposed to be issued to Tank crews since the Grease Gun basically fixed every issue the tank crews had with the Thompsons.

I just don’t see the point in a tanker exclusive Garand, especially since we have the M1E5 which is functionally the same thing but tankers can’t equip it. There are better choices for US weapons so this should be at the very bottom of the list.
Huh, didn’t know that. We absolutely don’t need this then, a reskin of an M1E5 is something that would be completely worthless.
It wouldn’t, since M1E5 is limited to only 4 pieces. And as you can see, some tank crews have more than 4 crew members.
That’s why I am currently using the M2A1 carbine for my commander.
But this would either be a Gold Order or a Premium squad since it is in effect another prototype that doesn’t fill any balance requirements, so it would be pointless. Reskinning an old gold order gun is a waste of everyone’s time, and takes up spots from other gold orders that are unique.
Literally nobody was speaking of balancenas far as I know. It’s just nice thing to have.
But if it’s going to be premium squad weapon, it would be just wasted potential. Just like with m1a1 carbine.
This is functionally just a Garand with a gimmick, it serves zero purpose in the tech tree and has no possible match for any of the other countries. Combined with the factors pertaining to this weapons development, and there is no way this would not be a premium or gold order weapon.

Like what? This rifle would be still more unique than 2 last GOs that US got.
I would take rechambered Owen and FM 24/29 over a literal repeat of a previous gold order. They may be shit, but they arn’t completely copy paste. We don’t need another Type Hei late situation.
