When using my secondary weapon, like a flamethrower or a picked up gun, and after throwing any explosive or dropping a mine, my soldier switches to the primary weapon and not the secondary weapon, which I was using.
This is not wanted and annoying.
It wasn’t always this way.

When it comes to throwing materials, I use quick throw and I don’t have such a problem. But when it comes to mines and tnt, it’s as you say, because that’s how the game is that when you run out of a given weapon, it switches to the first full one counting from the main weapon.
Swap your primary and secondary weapons with keys and see if it still does. Just a suggestion because it doesn’t bother me.
