M4a3 105 is very strong and can easily destroy many of higher br tanks even with HE.
And because it uses m4a3 chassis it is tougher than regular shermans.
Thus i suggest that they should be at br4 with HEAT shells.
And in terms of historical accuracy, m4a3 105 came out very late of ww2 which makes sense to be at higher br.
Also, put m10 should be at br3, i don’t see any reason for it to be at br4.
As well as in terms of historical accuracy, m10 was introduced way earlier than m4 105.

Comparing the real-world stats of the M4, M10 Fireflys guns the M10 is closer to the Sherman standard unless you include some of the latter ammo like the HVAP/ACPR. With HE-AP armor pen and velocity are relatively low or the M10.
the pen of the HVAP is nearly that of the firefly. Though both are 76MM the Firefly is much newer and stronger. So what ammo does the M10 have, i have heard the gun is great but has weak armor which is why it is at BR4.

It has similar performance to the 75 mm KwK40 L48, but the HE is much worse, so the M10’s BR should definitely not be higher than the PZ IV J as a open top TD.
So what? There’s jagdpanzer iv or su-85 that have no turret and still sit at higher br than M4 105
M10 has even slower turret traverse and is opentop and get br4.

M4 105 with HEAT would perform as good as right now in higher BR with HEAT.
In fact it perform too good at current BR.
if you compare it to its counterpart in japan, 120 mm Chi-ha,
M4 105 outperform in every aspect.

HA is always good in games like Enlisted as long as it doesn’t interfer with the balance.

its difficult to learn, but yeah its super good, I could see myself using it in BR4 especially if they get HEAT since 76mm HE of shermans suck.
Idk if you read my last part but a lot of US tanks need the tiers lowered in terms of balancing but jagpanzers they have crazy good armor so there’s a reason why they’re there but for SU-85 it’s the same for US tanks it doesn’t even belong in BRV or even BR4 but that’s debatable
And HA DOESNT exist in this game cause tbh enlisted is trying to be different but because of balance it destroyed that emersion but yeah I don’t mind some HA being in the game

well made argument; extremely rare in enlisted discussions.
though uptiers always ruin the fun as they take something away people got used to. the better solution is to keep the 105mm in BR3 and just lower the M10 to BR3. This - of course- can be done by lowering all tank destroyers in this game, as they are generally overtiered. very rare exceptions like the dicker max who already got downtiered and the BR2 marder can stay where they are.
