Yes, before you say anything… i am that dumb, i spent a gold order on a suppressed Mosin. But here’s the thing… i didn’t do it to get some sort of ultimate sneaky sniper rifle, i did it because i like it as a collectible and i found it the most interesting out of the bunch.
That being said, i’m having trouble finding a fitting role for it…
As a sniper rifle in the sniper squad it doesn’t make much sense because having a different ballistic trajectory and speed than the other rifles it will mess up your shots, not sure if it would make sense as a marksman rifle in an assault squad because my boys have the scoped svt38 and you ain’t exactly sneaky with an assault squad from the begining.
I would love to be able to use it as an engineer weapon in my sniper squad by removing the scope but the game doesn’t work that way.
So this begs the question, what would be a fitting role for it and how do you guys use it?
I also bought it, i love collecting ww2 stuff here I am struggeling hitting headshots since the bullet flys way higher at 30m before it falls down… I still use it for its uniqueness though
hmmm… you seem to misunderstand me, i don’t regret getting it even tho it’s an “obvious bad choice”. I like it as a historical collectible, i would love to see the german version as well and the whole post was made to try to find the role for it that would suit it best so that everyone who considers getting this rifle can enjoy it.
