I would like to suggest 2 unique tanks with unique mechanic
the first one would be the matilda hedgehog BR II
an normal matilda with rockets launcher as support already know for WT player
The second one would be an german modifications of the H39 wich get 2 of 240 mm wuhrframmen on each side BR I
Thoses both vehicles could used their rockets like the mortar but with an heavier effect
cool but rockets are broken
in wich way ?
they feel cheap to get killed by, enemies can lob them over buildings, unlike tanks it does not show where the tank that killed you is, the have even bigger kill zones than tanks, no warning time like artillery, all vehicle rockets are premium.
it’s only 4 rockets to 6 for the matilda it’s not something you can spam, matilda got a 180 / 200 m range it’s not something you can spam on the ammo point
Tanks are stronger and TNT/explosive packs and AT are weaker. I cant support tanks when they are OP/favoured and grey zone tanks still an issue.

that is the range from one gray zone to the other sometime so no, and others from the gray-zone to the defense point, also i assume you can reload not one and done double no
TNT and explo packs aren’t weaker at all it’s one of the easiest way to destroy tank when you don’t have AT launcher. you litterally kill all tanks with thoses.
the one in my suggestion aren’t op nor favored matilda has a good armor but his shells lack in explosive while H39 lack in practicly everything lol
I wouldn’t let those tanks able to get quick reload as the other I mean quick reload for their shells and mg ammo why not but Like a 5 min cooldown to resuplly rockets
meaning it would be more like a bomber, annoying but tolerable. but it would have to be like five minutes giving it any less would make it spamable. so accurate and powerful but with a very long reload. i guess it could work but most people will use it to get cheap kills then use it as a normal tank. with just rockets its far to weak but with a gun its still strong. or not being only a 2 pounder or 40mm. what br would it be though thats the issue, i guess br 3 ?
the H39 is hard to tell if we put in count that wich he’s best ammo he can pen up to 54 mm I would put in BR I since when you’re out of rockets you have to play your role as a tank too . In comparaison BT-7 is fast and has 70 / 73 ammor pen.
For the matilda I would put it BR II since allied has already matilda but has a premium in br II. I’m not sure putting it in BR III would be positive. this one too lack gun power britain shells aren’t the best in post pen dmg so i don’t want it to strugle vs panther or tiger I too often
I would like them powerful but accurate i don’t know those are rockets lancher in ww2 ^^
Not as easy as spamming rockets with US T34 that’s for sure
sorry but rockets is an automatic +1 br so br2 and br3 otherwise its just better in every way than other tanks of the same br, maybe if you took away the machine gun you could keep them at br 1 2.
i would have been agree if those tank where well armed but that’s not the case. You can’t uptier those tanks or they will live only for the rockets and that’s something no one want. If we take example with the H39. his ammo are APC so already a bad post pen dmg wich mean 2/3 shot to kill an BT-7 you can’t put in being versus higher BR you will ruin the tanks slot. having a tank that’s usless would be nefast for the team even more if the other tanker is a walkind dead as we see often …
then you are power scaling, that is making tanks that are in every way equal or superior to tanks of the same br. if they have the same weapons and armor as others of the br and rockets bad design. you could limit the ammo like only ap, or ap-aphe no he. or just limit the total number of shells otherwise it is power creep of the worst kind low br power creep.
the H39 has already that he’s using only APHE ^^ if i’m not mistaken by the way it’s an 2 man so it’s already an very fragile tank we can’t put this one as power scaling unlike the matilda
But yeah a limit in the total number would be more appreciate than uptiered

and if by magic we could get thoses littles one in reality then I would be happy. The diversity of tanks is what i love the most in ww2 games we could have put the RBT-5 as russian BR III for example
