Supply Drop Medical Supplies

I think Supply Drops are a good feature. They provide the Radio Operator with another tool to support the team and they’re perfect for when your own Engineers aren’t building Ammo boxes. You never know when you need Ammo

I think Supply Crates should resupply Meds as well. Medics are a niche class and aren’t that common but they have an important function nonetheless. Just like Engineers who don’t build ammo boxes, Supply Drops giving meds as well gives Radios a chance to support the team

Throughout the war when supplies needed to be air dropped to desperate troops they were typically supplied with medical supplies, food and rations, fuel, and ammo

I think Ammo Crates could resupply grenades and rifle grenades. They already supply flamethrowers, mortars, every single AT weapon, and the Soviet Gold Order RMN-50 launcher. So Ammo boxes can resupply explosives, and by extension a Supply Drop can resupply them as well

The only way I can agree with ammo boxes restocking hand grenades or any sort of throwable is if it functions like a mortar the second you grab a hand grenade or an explosive it depletes the entire crate. The reason why I say this is because a single grenade can be more detrimental than one might think. It has the potential to completely mess with balance, One person gets a grenade somebody else builds another ammo box a second person gets a grenade, etc. It can easily chain reaction to a explosive fest if not kept under control.

I think the devs did things quite well with not allowing explosives to be restocked at all unless they are mortars or anti-tank.

If something support like is added in any form it needs to be grouped up together. Rocket strike is alright with the normal strikes but the ammo drop should be separated from the rest just like any other strikes that get added.

They all need a option under the regular artillery strike option on the pie menu. This is where ammo, and any future strike types would belong.
Not only does it fix the timer issue that lets people spam arty but it keeps someone from having to swap through so many options, while keeping the UI clean.

Yes to medical supplies, no to grenade spam.

I don’t think Grenade resupply is OP. I wouldn’t make it a single grenade = destroyed box. I don’t know what the exact calculations are but I know 10 mortar rounds empties the box so I would say 10 grenades

Regardless I think it is ultimately for the greater good so it reinforces a culture of building Ammo boxes to support the team

I’ve played enough battlefield games to know that easy grenade resupply is pure cancer.

Well, this way of resupply is so inconsistent I definitely would call it easy.

At least if I understand it correctly and he wants radio call for grenade box, not buildable box.

It’s less convinient than engineer box but after it’s on the ground, there is not much difference.

I don’t want either. I’m affraid it will be hell.
Ppl full of grenades, grenade launchers and mines already can be really annoying, they don’t need any help.

Or this grenade resupply thing will be so nerfed it will be useless.

There is a 30-second cooldown after the box is dropped.
If it weren’t for the Molotov cocktail, it wouldn’t seem so bad.

I think that would be a waste. Why have a separate grenade box when the existing ammo box already supplies every single thing except grenades.

So if grenades will ever be resupplied it should be the same old ammo box……as well as the supply drop
