How the frick would you feed an en bloc clip from below? Hold on Nazi scum, lemme spin my rifle around real fast so I can see what I’m doing and not jam my thumb while reloading my gun!
If that’s legit, then the Soviet gun designers do not deserve the credit I’ve been giving them as of late
Thats how the PTRS-41 is loaded, it also uses en blocs.
Oh you mean like from below the gun? I think it is technically possible to do so with some of those clip loaded guns that have a lower magazine plate that can be opened - i am pretty sure I have seen someone do it, but I doubt that it would be very practial.
Just like PTRS-41
you remember the AT gun from COD WAW during the reichstag mission? or you havent play it before?
it similar to that i think
I dont even think this would be done with a clip, rather you flip your gun, open the lower magazine plate and simply lay the rounds into the box - those bolt action rifle mags dont have a big classical “magazine spring” rather a very basic piece of metal with spring pressure… well difficult to explain I guess.
As soon as you close the bottom plate the ammo can be cycled. Its a weird process, but again I am pretty sure I have seen some bolt guns that actually can be loaded that way.
Also like he said, PTRS is loaded that way.
I was entirely unaware of that. Granted I don’t think you really see much of its reload anyways
This is what we actually get.
The reload animation seems to be exactly the same as M1 Garand.
Hm nothing wrong with that I suppose, or am I missing something? Many countries tried those block clips if I am not mistaken.
New player here - this will be my first event and I can’t hop into the game since I’m at work…
Do you have to do all of the tasks to unlock the rewards, for example in Phase 2 - I don’t have any semi-autos unlocked yet?
Do you only get one weapon per unlock? A Browning and two SKS if you unlock everything?
Weapon failed trials = weapon better than tech tree competitors lol
Enlisted logic
Looks cool, for these smaller events I like having guns that offer some variety. Perfect little event I would say.
To be fair, things that usually fail a gun at the trials (cost, reliability, ergonomics) aren’t something considered in the game.
Well, SKS-30 had too many jams to be accepted for further consideration, PPD with snail drum couldn’t feed well, and Tokyo Arsenal smg (one of my favorites) literally exploded during trials
Don’t worry! Each phase lasts 2 days, so you have time.
Yes, you will need at least 1 semi-auto unlocked. There are some in the Tier 2 section of some nations (Germany - Armaguerra, USA - M1 Carbine, etc) which you may be able to get quickly.
Correct, as it says:
So, you’ll receive 3 “unique” rewards in total - at 5 tasks you’ll get the Silver Browning Hi-Power, at 8 and 11 you’ll get a copy of the SKS-30 (2 in total).
DId Soviets used SKS during WW 2 or AK-47
Like, the American T24, if they could pull it off, it would be the best MMG of the US (and probably would be TT in an alternate history Enlisted), but because they couldn’t make it work with 30-06, it’s just a failed prototype that got premiumed. Also, if SKS-30 fires the 7,62x54R, shouldn’t it be called SVS-30?
Much like the daily tasks the numbers to complete the event are creeping higher and higher. I am expecting the daily to go up to Destroy 10 enemy tanks, Make 100 headshots, 50 bolt action kills, Be number one of you team 10 times. Stop adding to the the grind its making events boring and mind numbing.
I agree some of the grind in these events is to much. Especially the tank destroying ones are anoying since detroying tanks depends on luck factors such as proximity, team mate skill in destroying tanks and whether players play tanks or AI.
However, this is not the same format as the regular smal events. You have four tasks and you usually get more stuf (2 guns and a pistol, instead of like one pistol and something for customization).
So, the fact that this event is a bit more grind heavy makes sence. However, I stil agree with your point.
I just noticed all the numbers increasing for the daily. What use to be 10-20 now is literally 50. The events themselves offer trivial prizes for people who have played a long time. The appearance orders really are a sham because of all the theatres of war. Imagine dressing 7 squads x 5-7 x 4 with it running 12 orders to change one soldier? (2352 for the German faction alone) That is a travesty. Everything else they do is excellent, 100% feel the developers do a great job on content. I just wish they would limit the grind of up the rewards. The loot boxes were kind of a good idea but the returns on them are so piss poor. I know after spending 400k since they brought the back. The first one was awesome. The rest have been garbage. Bad odds are not good ways of draining resources. Good odds giving cosmetics/EXP is a win for the game.
