With the recent update that allows changing the nationality of German soldiers to Italian, I noticed that any German squad can now be visually customized to appear Italian. Because of this, the originally Italian squads seem to have lost part of their identity or uniqueness within the game.
At the moment, there’s no clear way to distinguish between a German squad with Italian appearance and a legitimately Italian squad, which can cause confusion or make the original ones feel redundant.
I’d like to suggest that these legitimately Italian squads be given proper Italian army uniforms like the premium italian squads, but with the free ones, to visually set them apart from customized German ones. This would help preserve their value as unique and historically authentic content, in line with the game’s historical focus.
Additionally, it might be worth considering giving them exclusive gear or insignia to further reinforce their distinctiveness. (like the US and British squads)
I also say this for those who still have free Italian squadrons from the Tunisia campaign before the update, since it would be like just another squadron in the bunch. (in my opinión)
