Suggestion of Making The Bot More Reactive While Keeping it's AimBot Accuracy The Same, and Maybe a Useful Squadmates

Make the Bots 15-25% More Reactive towards enemies and 10-20% more shooty

Also Allow the Bots Shoot on the Move

A Bot Command Option Where The Bots Will Do Bayonet or Melee Weapon Charge with the player.

Give Bots ability to throw grenade if it detects soldiers bunching up or soldiers behind cover and give it 30-45 seconds Cooldown.

A Build Options for Bots To Be Able To Dig Foxhole for Rally Points and a Simple Line Trench

Shooting on the move would make them over powered maybe if they spotted a enemy they path find to the nearest cover then engage the enemy( if the player hasn’t commanded them to stay in a marked area ) instead of laying prone in the open or just standing there when they dont know where to shoot.

Shooting on the move, or also know as hip firing, is very underrated in this game. It’s my favourite go-to way of firing SMGs. This would definitely help bots be more aggressive and not so defenseless. Currently they laughably walk and stop to fire. All are great suggestions.

Also I think they should sprint alongside the player and not staying 30 meters behind, unless ordered so by the player. I mean come on, we’re assaulting a position dammit, move your feet, soldier. Not a single step back! Usually when I switch to my second guy in my squad, he’s already too far away and getting killed.

What are you? A masochist???

I personally think if you’re not playing in BR3 with MG squads or BRV cycling 3 rifleman with auto rifles you have no say in making bots stronger because being on the other end of those is anything but enjoyable.

But go ahead… increase bot reactivity and then you’ll see even more people wanting battle rifle nerfs because enjoy the 20% extra reactivity (whatever that means considering i’ll literally be sitting in a bush looking at guys run past and they magically start looking at me) when my rifleman already do well for themselves.

I couldn’t imagine wanting such an annoyance of this game to be amplified even more and i know it’s always said by the people who just play to play that bots aren’t that annoying and it’s just wrong… so why you want to further that issue is beyond me.

true… maybe after they fix the xray bush problem then

not really, shooting on the move should affect their accuracy and lower his chance to hit

usually when i go forward i dont just let them follow me, i move them like a RTS game units

My way of improving the AI would be a bit more simple. Basically they copy the players every movement. So once I start moving, they follow instantly behind me and take the same path (even through windows). Not the 50m headstart and wide flank they do to avoid a freaking doorway.

And when we shoot in a direction, they should also shoot in that direction. Not accurately, but more like suppressive fire. On a side note, bushes should be treated as walls for the AI. I still continually get shot through bushes like 100m or more away from the AI.

When will the Devs fix their game in ways that aren’t graphics improvements?

maybe the dev should ask the tarkov dev how to fix this issue

I do that too. In the style of Brothers in Arms, ordering my squad to move by aiming. But my problem is that they don’t sprint alongside the player, they jog at a leisurely pace and they always stay way behind.

sometimes it depends of soldier class and the perk level. when playing partisans they catch up quick.

I think the goal should be to make them “appear” like they are doing more…

Really? When I saw it on the steam store, it looked way different. Now I’m definitely going to buy it.

They already shoot at your markers, just set it to LMB in addition to V. A lot of squad-based problems can actually be addressed with random changes in controls like this lol

Whenever I mark normally, I find the AI don’t even turn in the direction of the mark

yes i agree to this. its the better option than bots wrecking players

the bots needs to be placed on a postion first then u start pinging targets. the bots only look to ur latest ping
