Suggestion of Japanese tech tree

Recently, future Japanese tech tree is not a good: its too short and lacks lots of necessary part of Japanese weapons. Therefore, I made suggestion of new tree for Japanese.

these two just got same summaries

Already premium.

It is already an event tank.

I don’t think the vehicles between Chi Nu and Chi To deserve such high tier. Those vehicles are inferior to Chi Nu.

Fantastic table and great offerings. I’d also love to add mention of the Ho-Ro, for supreme funny derp, and the A6M5 Hei or A6M6 Hei with a combination of rockets and a centermount 250kg bomb to help with increasing multirole firepower would be quite welcome.

Where’s Type 98 MG (MG-15 copy), ZH-29,
Mondragon, Berettas?

As far as the Japanese line goes it really wouldn’t be so bad if things actually worked like they should.

  • Scoped weapons need to be able to use the scopes
  • Tanks need to be able to switch view to access the turret MG mounts, as well as command both mgs from the commanders view.

Unless things like this are addressed, bringing more stuff in still wont help.

While those are indeed nice additions, I do think there are still significant raw content gaps for the tree so content is generally just welcome for Japan, especially to fill out higher performance brackets such as automatic rifle assets and higher end LMG/SMG assets. Tanks and aircraft of course also need filling out, so there’s few areas where content wouldn’t ameliorate the situation, not to say that the existing issues aren’t themselves welcome of course.

There are large differences: have extremely long bayonet mount or not. Total length of Ko is 1,097mm but Otsu is 827mm.

I don’t think they are hidden in pay walls. In Japan, they’re thought as most symbolic Japanese tank. I guess you feel Japanese tree without Ha-Go is strange, but Japanese players also think Japanese tech tree without Chi-Ha is strange.

About Type 98 MG:
Type 98 MG (licensed MG15) officially called Type 98 swivel machine gun(九八式旋回機関銃) is aviation machine gun for bomber’s gunners, not ground weapon.
Also, “Type 98 MG” used on ground, Type 98 water-cooled heavy machine gun (九八式水冷重機関銃) is rare water-cooled heavy machine gun for fortresses on border of Manchuria and Soviet.

ZH-29: We already have Type Otsu

Mondragon & Beretta: At least in Japan there’s no info that Japanese used them. If you want to add any semi-auto rifke, M1 Carbine (Japanese soldiers like to use it) or old Hino rifles will be good.

Ah, i like them! But position for vehicles are limited and some SPGs like Ho-Ni I and Ho-Ro have a protection problem so I didn’t contained them.

Yeah, but still… We need a good counterpart for m1919a6

It sucks so much…

Here’s about beretta m1938

And about mondragon: i can’t find an english source for some reason, but a lot of them in Russian, and it said that about 4k of swiss produced units were sent to the asian region (china, japan and korea as well)…
Well, i still think it’s gonna be better than hei and otsu

No English or Chinese source I have seen has ever said anything about the Mondragon in Japanese service, and seeing as those were the languages of the countries that fought the Japanese the most during the war, I would wager that their reporting is second only to the Japanese sources themselves. Seeing as the Japanese sources also don’t state anything about that gun in Japanese service, it is likely it never was and the Russian sources are just wrong.

I can’t also find an images of it even in german or mexican soldiers’ hands

Possible as well, but still that japs couldn’t use mondragons is not impossible either

It’s just wikipedia……
I read source of that Wikipedia, but it seems not reliable.
For example, it says that Japanese Navy purchased Type I rifle but its wrong: it was purchased by army with Type Mo(Mauser) rifles for Chinese front. Reason why Navy used Type I is just it had extremely low reliability and quality so army denied to use it. Because of it, they were delivered to schools for military training and navy’s equipment.
In other hand, importing Beretta SMGs sounds strange, too. If it was imported until 1943, any documentation would be left: administrative documents before 1944 were mostly left because they evacuated to rural area and such contracts left and documents, but actually such documents are not known. Also, list of Japanese navy’s ground weapon for officers written in the end of 1944 are still left and it is in the Japanese national archives. However, SMGs listed on it are only S1-100, SIG-Bergmann M1920, Type 100 SMG and Type 100 SMG special.
In addition, it says that Beretta was called “伊”, but in that time Japanese used Katakana initial instead if Kanji initial of Italy for Italian weaoons.

Yeah, so I put field modification variant of Type 97 7.7mm fixed machine gun
