Suggestion for a future game version: weapons recycling and conversion

I like this idea to an extent. I like the idea of the jungle mag, which (American) soldiers did to their M1 carbines and grease guns. Changing the ammo type would also be nice. The M1 Garand had 3 ammo types, ball, armor pricing, and tracer. Other weapons chambered in 30-06. could get those modifications like the Springfields. Other miscellaneous weapon mods such such as allowing the pump shotguns to fire in slam-fire mode would also be greatly appreciated.

Oh yes, I dream about it. I dream of sitting in a stash for three days and assembling weapons for the team.

And of course I dream about red dot sights as big as a carton of pipes and needing a 50kg battery.

The reason why I don’t like AAA games is just forcing things that during the Second World War were just in their infancy and were only novelties, often clumsy and of zero usefulness in the field.

The mechanical sight is the only legal and acceptable sight until the 1970s.

Until dev unlocked this then it’s time to talk about this.

You should concern more about they are going to again releasing unpolished new features, instead of suggesting this so early.

Also, go play COD/BF if you want an arcade and unrealistic FPS game. Dont bother changing Enlisted from existing audience.

There is an interesting theory that in the early 2000s games were more realistic and respectful of the time period (even CoD 1-2), then CoD 4 happened and made automatic weapon with red dot sight the norm, so going back to historical shooters again was too fast for spoiled babygamers, and that’s why now it is mandatory for any AAA fps to have automatics and reflex sight meta, even if it makes zero sense for the time period (CoD WW2, BF1, Vanguard, BFV, etc.).

Thankfully Enlisted so far is staying away from that cancer but stuff like Sniper Garand and stuff still didn’t exist in WW2.

This is squad upgrade get reworked dont exist anymore in this state

Like you can do a rant each day for everything you dont like and shit on the game, i can post everything i like to see in the future as suggestion

Battlefield 1942 secret weapon

It wasn’t the base game. I didn’t have Internet in 2002 to know about this abomination. So my love for BF 1942 is pure.

In any case, DLCs in early 2000s were more of a side meme (like zombies dlc for RDR1 or something).

Still different game before 2000 reinveted the ww2 for give a different experience to their player, i never understand this necessity of keep everything historical and boring, i growed up loving play and having fun is that so hard?, i know different people different fun yada yada… but still is so hard join together for play and leave aside the reality for a couple of hour?

Well exactly different people different fun.

I like immersion and don’t like fantasy. I’ve never watched Superman or Avengers or played Halo or Destiny or Apex, because fantasy is not fun for me.

Historical is fun for me.

It is more about one specific game to satisfy one specific part of need. If you player more games, you will find there is way more better game with at least better coding quality and balancing than Enlisted. So Enlisted satisfy my specific need of immersivity and this is why I want to keep at least some sort of historical accuracy. And for other part of fun, I would play competitors of Enlisted which are better in their specific advantages.

I’m not saying no to modifications. But still, the reason I invested in CBT is historical accuracy.
Adding any non-historical elements is a bit off the mark. I understand the use of the maxim 1910 machine gun in the XXI and mounting a silencer and optics in it.
Let’s add the ability to add things like this, but increasing the BR of the weapon. So the MP40 with a red dot sight can be used on the BR10+.

Syria insurgent modified WWII weapon could appear as starter level in modern conflict.

Maxim 1910 Ukrainian conflict.

As a starting weapon? NO. Just as a curiosity and the possibility of using them. No one will stop you from running around the Vietnamese jungle with Sten or MP40.
After all, a weapon is a weapon, so I am also in favor of making the damage dependent on the caliber, and the effective distance on the type of weapon.

This is a good point of weapon customisation, which is old weapon modified with modern parts should have significantly increased BR so they work in the era when the modern parts belong to.

Could depend on how much you modify it, but weapon design is making huge progress in these years, it may cost much more to modify old weapon in depth to let it perform well than just buy a weapon with new design concept. But it is still possible, so for diversity, why not?

There is quite a lot of source shows WWII weapons appeared in later wars.

Tell me it, because here almost everyone come with the point of shit on this suggestion

The difference is here WWII weapon with modern parts appear in later wars where all parts are already in service. What I also disagree is modern parts appear in WWII battles.

And where i said, that modern part should be used in ww2 BR? No dude i never said it, i said only that a Gewer43 with a bipod and slow full auto dont was a big fuss in a future costumization

Maybe some other people and me thought you want to introduce them into current game. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
