So, just a thought regarding a possible competitive mode for Enlisted. This has some initial ideas for how to work matchmaking simply, and how to do something more unique.
How to enter: there will now be a 5th “faction on top” that has all 4 factions involved in your lineup.
You will have 3 infantry squads, and 1 utility squad.
You will need to use 1 squad from each of the 4 factions in your lineup (ie: 1 Japan, 1 USA/UKC, 1 Axis Europe, and 1 Soviet).
You cannot use the same squad type twice.
Infantry Squads:
Rifleman
Engineers
AT Gunners
Assaulters
Medics
Snipers
Machine Gunners
Utility:
Tankers
Fighters
Attack Planes
Transports
Riders
Mortars
Radio Operators
Paratroopers* (Only if Paras are added to Tech Tree)
Flame troopers
Guerrilla
Each BP, the PVP Resets, and you will have new map cycle, and new BR, plus a new special weapon (the BP Weapon)
Premium Squads are banned
Event Squads are banned
Event Vehicles (the skins are ok) are banned
Gold Order Weapons are banned
The current BP weapon is allowed
The current rank structure will be moved to the competitive system, to remove any issues of confusion. Any rewards would be moved into the BP itself.
Matchmaking Groups: Once you have 10 matches played you will enter the Sergeant Group
Private - Corporal (replace Corporal with Private First Class): Unranked
You will need 5 Matches each to advance to main ranking
Sergeant - Sergeant Major: Group 1 (Sergeant Group)
Second Lieutenant - Colonel (Field Officer Group)
Brigadier General - Marshal (General Group)
Matchmaking will use top Rank in Party
Groups will play against groups of equal size as much as possible
Team Voice is enabled
AI can be tuned to each group (General Group would have quicker reaction than Sergeant Group for example)
The top 9 on the combined scoreboard will increase rank
Middle 2 will remain the same rank
The bottom 9 will lose a rank (Sergeant being lowest rank)
After the BP you will be reset to the bottom of your final group
Sounds really cool but I don’t think there’s enough players for it sadly. Also the top 9 people is a cool idea but at the same time score isnt equal to the impact of the player in the game. Imagine going up in the leaderboard because some idiot called in air raid and you cashed in 2000 points for free
Interesting idea nonetheless, I’d like to see something like this get implemented someday
I have a copypasta saves specifically for historical accuracy warriors shitting themselves that people would rather play somehow balanced game than suffer cock and ball torture in Historical Accuracy™ simulator
It is possible to reduce the points for such things so they impact less as it is its own queue (as well as increase other things). And since it is a rotating Battle Rank, this would just be 4 queues (one for each MM Group).
Team voice in battle is a bad idea i played HLL and often ppl talking about non-sense things in commander chat and cant ask a commander to ordering a tank or supply truck or whatever and i was the idiot who sayd “boys that talking dont belongs in commander chat please it will be better to talk on a other source to discuss privat things and not to interrupt the commander chat with that” and what they do? Voting for kick, they couldn’t…
That why its really a bad idea, sadly there will be ppl who will use this in a wrong way and the game will be ruined that why i say your idea is not bad but the voice chat should be out of it.
…Or it should be push to talk like in Arma like walky-talky (Radio) chat!
he simply refuses to use the tools that has been given to him.
yet is perfectly capable and have time going on lengthy threads and rants about what he wants and how enlisted was murdered from being something else ( that never has been ) beside what HE WANTS.
( spoiler allert, what he wants ain’t historical accurate either ).
so that’s kinda on him tbh.
hell, i even offered to make what he wanted twice.
as for op suggestion,
personally i much rather see pve events.
much more enjoyable and offers something different for a change rather than the same thing with some mission limitations / specific " rules ".
