I noticed while playing with friends and new players that there needs to be a way to quickly switch the weapons of the entire squad to a different BR. Currently you need to go through each soldier individually and switch weapons. It would be ten times faster if there was an option to change the weapons of the entire squad to the selected BR.
The “automatic loadout” option for each soldier is not good enough as it is very slow and it changes bags, knives and grenades as well as the weapon, totally messing up the equipment. It would just switch to the highest research level weapon of a selected BR. Or you could mark weapons as favorites for each BR and it would equip those. You could do the same thing with tanks and planes, one button to switch to favorite tank for each squad.
It’s really necessary to fix the UI. Every player I’ve introduced to Enlisted says they don’t know what’s going on with the UI or how to switch squads and weapons so they just hit play and get an awful first experience and they don’t bother watching guides on youtube to learn the UI.
Players with normal thinking skills will learn on their own
Bad players should be held accountable for their own inaction
Instead of adding more guidance or extreme protection measures for groups without the ability to think.
What? The UI is the issue? Are they 12? 52?
Look, I’ll agree just as much as the next guy, the tutorials can be better in this game, but the UI ain’t that complex. You click the gun to change the gun. You click the little squad looking button on the bottom to change squads. Ain’t that hard to just intuit these things if you’ve played games for long enough
While I agree the UI isn’t that difficult to understand for veteran players, I don’t think it’s a matter of good vs bad players. It’s not straight forward and easy to comprehend for new players. Adding an option to filter by BR like OP suggests would make it easier on new players.
And it would save so much time. I have Low BR, High BR and BR 3 on most armies. But I should only need one army with ability to switch weapons on the squads. It wouldn’t even take a minute to set up for the BR a friend want to play.
Please consider this suggestion. Currently you can only do it on each soldier individually, but it switches out basic equipment as well as the weapon. And it’s very slow compared to if there was a button to switch all weapons in the squad to the selected BR tier. Instead of having 5 different setups for each army, you could get away with just 1, even though I would probably still have different setups for low and high BR with more AT guys or engineer squads on low tier.
Look how unusable the current preset is. I don’t want shovel and on some guys I want grenade pack.
