Dear @Bigote0070 and @MajorMcDonalds. I have a suggestion and also a question.
Is it possible for developers a change to make all old weapon’s sound played by only its main sound (weapon_name_body.wav file), not using e_sound, e_loop, first, e_first, shot, e_shot files. Because new weapons such as MAS-38 (has only body.wav and tail.wav files) can produces its sound correctly (both environmental heard and fire rates) without requiring any of these e_sound and e_loop anymore as far as I understand.
Why is such a problem?
- Weapons that are using e_first, e_shot type of sound such as Federov Avtomat, AS-44, SIG1920 produce environmental sounds differently from its 1st person sound shot
- Weapons that are sharing the same sound but each others have different fire rates, one will produce incorrect environmental fire rates sound. Example case; MP40 and Conders MG. The sound files belongs to MP40 so Conders MG sound being heard from others will be have much slower fire rates (MP40 fire rates) than it correctly should, or Beretta SMG series with each variants have different fire rates but produce the same environmental fire rates sound because of shared e_loop sound.
