There are some of the Battle Pass Weapons, or BPW, that need some slight changes or additions to make them up to date to the current in game systems and standards. Some of these changes may also be needed for normal weapons as well, but that isn’t gonna be the focus.
Allies:
Berdan II
Considering how bayonets are a pretty common thing right now in the game, and how it even states in game that the Berdan II came with a bayonet, it would be pretty unfair to not give it its bayonet. Since it’s a one-shot rifle, having a bayonet would make it more usable. I know it has more damage per shot, that’s how it should be, but it should also have a bayonet in case you get charged or if you need to melee while reloading.
KB-P-135
Again, something that should have a bayonet but doesn’t, there’s gonna be a lot of these. Even though it doesn’t need it as much as the Berdan II, it would be beneficial with its bayonet attached. Especially if it’s equipped by non-assaulters, since it wouldn’t be able to go toe-to-toe with semi-automatic rifles in close quarter environments.
Pedersen Rifle
Just like with the 1888 and the normal rifles, the Pedersen Rifle is supposed to be able to mount a bayonet. It has a bayonet lug.
M1903 (Pedersen Device)
Just like with the KB-P-135, a bayonet would be preferable. On top of that, the entire point of the Pedersen Device was that you would only need to switch out the bolt of the M1903 to convert it into a Pistol Caliber Carbine. Which means that the barrel and front-end of the rifle is practically identical to the normal M1903 rifles in the game. There’s really no effort needed to fix this, just do with this one like you’ve done with the rest of the Springfields.
M2A1 Carbine
The M2 Carbine is a Semi-Automatic Rifle in the game, why is the M2A1 Carbine an SMG? the M2A1 Carbine is just the paratrooper version of the M2 Carbine. You could either make both into Assault Rifles (Which would break a lot of stuff), turn them into Pistol Caliber Carbines (Which wouldn’t be true), turn the M2A1 Carbine into a Semi-Automatic Rifle, or make both into some kind of exception that works for all non-machine gunners and non-snipers. Either way, the current situation doesn’t make much sense.
Axis
Gewehr 1888
Since all other bolt action rifles in of the Axis in Moscow have bayonets, even the Gewehr 98 Warmod, the Gewehr 1888 should also have a bayonet, especially since it bolts slower than the normal rifles.
The historical justification can be found in this forum post:

Mkb 35/III
This one should be reclassified as an Assault Rifle, considering it’s chambered in an intermediate cartridge, select-fire, and takes detachable magazines. I know it has no bearing on gameplay, but aesthetically it fits.
MKb 42 (W) (Maybe)
This is just an informed guess, but since the MKb 42 (H) should have a bayonet, like it did IRL, it would make sense that the little thing below the barrel would be a bayonet lug. And since both rifles were in the same trial, it would make sense if one of the requirements for the contract was the addition of a bayonet lug.
The MKb 42 (H) with bayonet:
Schmeisser MK36.III
Since it has the same bayonet lug as the K98k it should also be able to mount the same bayonets as the K98k and its derivatives. Due to its low magazine capacity and slow fire rate, it would also be preferable to be able to defend yourself properly in melee.
Pavesi M42 (Maybe)
I couldn’t find much information about this rifle, but since it has a bayonet lug it would make sense to have a bayonet for it, although if there is no reference material to take from then it would be fine if no bayonet was added.
These proposed changes wouldn’t be much too work, and it would add quite a lot when it comes to using these weapons ingame.
