Suggest to add a detachment of mobile anti-aircraft gunners

A very interesting, as for me, topic that can diversify the hunt for aircraft and also good support for the infantry, but with a very weak defense.
I have a proposal to add mobile anti-aircraft battalions to the game, which can be taken only one before destruction, regardless of how many tanks or aircraft are in the team. Engineers often place anti-aircraft stationary batteries in various corners of the map, and players, at least occasionally, but aim at a flying enemy. But due to the fact that the anti-aircraft gun has to stand at one point all the time (of course, you can break it and rebuild it, but this is not that), the gameplay becomes very boring, and a person who wants to save his teammates against an ace pilot or a beginner can sit for minutes, catching an enemy plane.
As a result, it would be nice to see trucks with anti-aircraft guns in the game, which can change their point, catch planes, and also move and support their teammates with fire in attack or defense. I say right away for the players - this is not whining about some strong pilots, this is a variety of boring gameplay for those who like to sit on anti-aircraft guns, including mine.
Of course, the disadvantage will be the very weak security of such trucks, as well as the ability to kill the crew even with a rifle. But if you look at all the pros and cons, then mobile anti-aircraft guns will be a very balanced addition of a new type of technology in the game.
For example, the USSR used various anti-aircraft guns on the YAG truck. Or the Germans, who also installed anti-aircraft guns on their tractors (if I am not mistaken, this is kf15). And I am also attaching a very nice photo of a Soviet mobile anti-aircraft gun with a crew, for acquaintance with some players.

it has already been semi confirmed that it will be added, later, if you search on the internet you will find the model pictures of AA mobile on enlisted

sounds cool

but why would you need to be able to travel at high speeds with an AA gun in game? it doesnt really fit the small maps

in that case, I’m waiting

Yes … they talked about this at the Russian forum, which and I myself thought about it. But still, I’m sure that the anti-aircraft gun would be used

give bigger maps and add AA trucks :sunglasses:

If it is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that lacks protection in the picture, there may be no balance problem.

Mobile AA would be nice, however how about they just give us Fixed Emplacements for now that are actually effective against planes.

to avoid kamikaze attacks?

To avoid advancing infantry?

Seems to me like mobility would make it more effective against infantry as opposed to giving an advantage against planes.

Obvious problem there would be the scenario we see in war thunder where SPAAGs ignore planes altogether.
But I guess all those tracers not pointed at the sky would make them easy targets for planes if they don’t want to do their jobs.

People need to play the objective more, not less.
And from my experience, AA guns are used mostly against infantry not planes.

Really I think I’ve changed my old stance on SPAAGs.

They’ll shred shitters, but anyone competent should be able to force them to play smart.

Just as long as the devs don’t do something that Darkflow would do and add the wirbelwind or something else stupid.

That is because the AA as it stands has no chance to shoot at plane, its turn rate is way so to slow to even track in front of the aircraft.
I don’t even bother to build them at all now, and haven’t since i built my first two AA and then manned them.
A mobile AA would be, of more use, imo

But how would that make them more effective against aircraft? The OP seemed focused on using then to counter planes, having them mobile wouldn’t increase traverse speed

No but, but you could drive around, to compensate for the lack of turning speed, also you not in the one position for when he comes back at you.

You have to anticipate its flight path. Planes aren’t remotely agile so it’s easy to predict where they’ll be and traverse close enough ahead of time that you’ll be able to correct for any errors by the time it gets there.
Not sure why so few people understand this.

Wouldn’t work well in a truck or halftrack.

Maybe not, depending on how they would implement such vehicle, would it be like a tank, with a commander, as such, or that only engineers get, idk tbh.
