PPD-40 gets overshadowed by PPSh even in Moscow
Disagree, there isn’t a better option as these are sleeping guards that kill enemy armour.
I do see why not everybody likes them since also for me, they require both my braincells to actually work together.
I place these at choke points, intersections and bridges. Excellent gear. Each of my squad has atleast 1 AT mine.
Sometimes I spawn in a para squad, jump behind enemy lines, take the AT load out (gives each para 1 AT mine), mine the enemy rear. Absolutely wonderful. All works best on defending missions but in general is pretty good any mission. Tanks typically spawn quite a bit far away from the frontline so placing them anywhere means they still remain relevant as the frontline moves even a few times.

yea i got hit by a mine like that once ngl if the map mostly have road i would used them more
im talking about long road ok? not some short road that lead into the jungle or something like that
You do’nt need roads, you just need logical points where you know tanks will cross.
Let’s say you have a beach then put a mine between the wide spots of obstacles. Kinda need to know the map a bit.
Well, thus two still useful.
Especially AT mines, they are very good against infantry and dumb players.(I love fools who shoot at it from a distance of five meters muhhahaha)
They are obviously very effective, as are axes, or sabers. For some reason, it’s more pleasant to shoot from them, probably because they have better accuracy at a short distance (although it seems not).
well im not a native english so the word underutilized confuse me like i understand it as “mostly unuse” is this correct?

dam then my opinion on underutilized weapon is still pistol and knife but will soon change to
knife since i mostly used axe and sword that my opinion for now
