Like it says - thinking of getting it - wouldn’t’ expect it to be as good as Jagdpanther, but perhaps noticeably better gun than 85mm and faster firing than 122mm?

Not worth, much better the T34-85E, the special armor that is like a metal fence, is really good because it can stop panzerfaust, tnt charges, demmolition pack, etc…
Not much better than the t34-85 zis or t34-85E, is still a good tank destroyer and infantry farmer with the high caliber HE but is not worth the purchase if you have use it in city map, is a tank destroyer after all

SU isn’t worth it.
Absence of turret and MG is not good enough tradeoff for a slightly better armour and 100mm instead of 85mm that’s on premium T-34.
But I still bought cuz I am braindead collector lmao, but it’s pretty boring vehicle gameplay wise.
I didn’t purchase nor intend to.
Su85 was fun, but was only that. For the 100 I tested and played against, I don’t see the value, neither for fun.

if HE wouldn’t have been nerfed into the ground, one could consider playing TDs, but since the SUs don’t even have a MG like German TDs, it is really not worth it, especially since T34s are enough to even take out King Tigers anyways.

Jagdpanther doesn’t have one… which is to say of course it has one, but not for the purposes of Enlisted!!

Yep, hull MG can use only machinegunner and commander. It is not a coaxial MG that is used by gunner.
But all you need to snipe with mg (for example on that river/bridge map) is binoculars. So it really isn’t any problem, your just must be outside the hatch.
