Played for a long time with both Axis and Allies in Normandy and anti-tank class for allies works well, very well - you can destroy any tank even from the front. But anti-tank for axis is a joke:
-bad sights and no distance adjustment;
-even Stuart and Scott are barely damageable;
-projectile is extremely slow;
-1 less ammunition in reserve;
-extremely long reload time;
-useless against Jumbo.
Sturmpistole should receive a major buff or be replaced by Panzerschreck. For now it’s a joke gun than can sometimes (like 10% chance) do anything to Stuart from sides or back.

lmao agree, its ability to kill tanks is a joke and it often requires luck to kill a tank unlike the PIAT
what i noticed, for experience,
the sturmpistole is capable to pen every tank. ( exept jumbos unless from higher position ).
but it’s almost impossible due to bad tank damage models.
i used to think the same.
but since the majority of HE in the game has been somewhat fixed, i believe it’s still related to tanks.

its obviously its bad for penning tanks, i mean just look at the values. its much lower than the PIAT
The Germans should get the Panzerfaust, give back the US the Bazooka. The PIAT actually belongs to British, its not a US weapon

I believe that’s what’s gonna happen. The PIAT will be moved to the British when Tunisia is added, and then I guess the US will get the Bazooka, in which case it would only make sense to give the germans their Panzerfaust

The lack of reasonable AT is one of the main reasons why the US dominates when they have good armor players, because while the Axis top tier tank (P4H iirc) can get taken out by handhelds the Jumbo is damn near impenetrable to even the Axis tanks from the front.

I dont knwo what you are going on about the sturmpistol is one of the best AT guns in the game to the point that at every time all my german bomber class troops are always at max perk, i have on consistent occasion one shot everythink but the jumbo and even then you just kill all the crew out of it, best way to think of it is that it fires a heat charge and not a shape charge like the pait
