Sturmgewehr 44 should be Germany's rifleman rifle

Here’s the reason why:

  1. sturmzug platoons
  2. FG-42 is a very niche rifle for paratroopers
  3. Let’s give Germany uniqueness as the first pioneer of widespread assault rifle usage

we can keep the FG-42 as LMG in BR3 (with nerf so it can match the BAR) and as sniper in BR5 (leave it as it is)

Well, following this logic, the Fedorov automatic rifle, PPSh, should be the main weapon of the infantry

or maybe only paratroopers can use it?

The same should apply with the Panzerfaust and the Ofenrohr

not before paratroopers exist in TT and until there’s 2-3 of them in the TT

no autorifle should be infantry standard issue

except sovjets did little to nothing during the war to replace both moist nugget & smg’s with AR.
Which I assume was kind of the point of this topic.

All these balance decisions will be weird no matter what, one could argue that BAR could also become a infantry weapon, while M2 could move to SMG - in the end it doesn’t really matter.

I swear Everyday it’s some dumb ahh thinking from German mains…enlisted is doomed

if they were, they would still be using them.

Well no, not really you are just jumping with your sovjet bias to assumptions.
At no point did he mention anything about superior germans or anything but the fact that germans indeed were the only faction during the war to wield in large numbers assault rifle and attempted to replace SMG’s & KAR’s all together with one gun.

Least sane ZOMBERWARRIOR15 suggestion for Germany

Honestly you can like take this and throw it out the window cause any regular person of enlisted would see that most of enlisted is just balancing every nation any way possible but also giving some slight upgrades along the way so honestly for an idea of giving STG-44 to literally anyone for br5 would of course break the game I mean look at HLL or Squad44 there are still Germans running around with KAR98 and other guns since you know it would be impossible to find players who would play US or Soviets and enjoy that abuse so yeah

if anything StG is inferior to FG 42 II we have right now, it’s not accurate enough in long range, damage is meh, fire rate is also meh.

400-450 vs 6 000 000 PPHs

very widespread?

which was unreliable and would crumple with one blow against a hard surface

Linke 20000 FG - only for paratroopers vs 500 AVT-40

Like 489 all Tiger’s (H) + (P) vs 3 385 JS-2

the game only deals with spreading fakes - passing off small things as big,

little use for widespread use - which is a lie and propaganda.

P.S. even the favorite rifle of the American military and rebels - M1 Carbine - the Enlisted turned into a garbage dump

Tbh at BR5 you already have every squad full of automatics.
Differency is just that engies / AT’s have FG42. Sure the stg is easier to handle but if I had to choose one and only gun it would be the FG.
At cqc both are just as deadly but when the range increases the FG is by far superior.
Hence if there was only one option between these 2 id take the FG any given day.

you cannot compare this shithole to HLL/Squad 44 ever man, you’ll never find FG 42 II deployed en masse in the other game anyway lol

this requires locked BR V matches which I’m all in for

Let me get this straight youre telling me the FG42 is more control able then the MF STG44 that has nonexistent recoil to the point it even got a Mf sniper scope I mean if you use the bipod then of course it would but its honestly better in every way then the FG42 hell there was a reason they took it off engineers after the merge

A gun that was produced for about 18 months ? And 450-500k would be rather significant number in wehrmacht numbers by that time.

Yeah, id say its by far more widespread AR than ASS44 soviets just had to get.

Oh yea, lets just disregard the fact that ppsh emptied it mag if you hit the stock to hard surface.
The fact they never really fixed the issues with drums aka interchangeability. As well as the recoil buffer that was often leather or some other substitute and the gun just eventually literally beated itself to death.

But yes it was definitely durable like tank and stg44 broke before ever being even used.
Try again ivan.

for me it is, i lost a gunfight using StG more than when using FG, also controlling the FG 42 is easy enough with maxxed out horizontal recoil perk and some good mouse pulling
