They’re both dogshit mechanics that barely function to the point they are genuinely only detrimental to gameplay especially from the arty, mortar, and bomb spam
Keep the stun if you remove the retarded forced aim swing
Flinch is entirely dogshit and should go entirely.
There is no argument that can be made to keep either of these things in in their current form.

This flinch shouldn’t make my gun go to the top of screen or sometimes make me look in a completely different direction. Stun should atleast just have screen shake but either remove mortars or tone down on the spam during matches.
The stun needs to have the forced sway removed from it and more tunnel vision added and that would be fine tbh
I think it should blur your screen and add a red effect a bit, not physically shake your aim and make you utterly defenseless.
Flinch should be removed entirely.
Because we are already controlling robots deprived of any illusion of “human like” movement by the start of OBT.
Maybe just tone it down a bit, but definitely not remove it.
Stun needs reworked, but flinch needs removed.
With the current netcode it is barely functional.
You mean you don’t enjoy being shot and your neck instantly turns 90 degrees while pulling 10Gs?
Both of them are mechanics that can be traced back to CS 1.6 that nobody likes. They need to be removed.
eh… not to be the black whitch once again but, if you get shot, you shouldn’t be able to flinch your opponent and kill him before he kills you. like, if he is slower or he is reloading, than ok, but if he shoots you, and you turn like nothing happened, it’s a no no from me.
that’s why being slower when taking fire is realistic and needed for gameplay.
but that’s just my opinion.
I’d rather just die after a small burst than get stunlocked and die after someone empties half their mag into me.
This
It also gimps the fuck out of bolt actions vs SMGs
They should also improve the lighting so that people don’t have to use game filter every time. It sucks when you get killed in a dark house by someone who used a game filter but you don’t
I prefer how it’s done in Darkest Hour mod for Red Orchestra - you get a standard blurry screen when lightly suppressed, as heavier it gets blur increases and your aim is thrown a bit to a side, you still can aim but need to correct more often. Imho it’s better than just wobbling gun. As an extra, it gives a function to MGs and SMGs where they can suppress enemy.
