How many of you would like the legendary Stuka G-1 (or G-2)? Currently the Soviets already have the equivalent aircraft, the IL-2-37. Would you see this as a positive thing? Personally I would see them as more suitable for the BR2. Paradoxically, the Russians currently have the IL-2 1941 in BR2 with 8 rockets and 4 bombs, which I use a lot and is a real beast. I would find it more sensible to move the IL-2 1941 to BR3 and put the IL-2-37 and the possible Stuka G-2 in BR2. What do you think?

Would love to see but realisticly the guns will be buged and unable to deal with tanks given the trackrecord for such planes so far.
But would be cool if working properly.

JU87 G1/G2 is a legendary aircraft, directly related to the famous German World War II Air Force pilot Hans Ulrich Rudel, adding such a legendary aircraft is undoubtedly a good thing for role-players
Is ok to move IL2- 37 to BR2, this plane can only effectively deal with tanks, but it is difficult to eliminate any infantry, and its flight performance is also the worst in the IL2 series

Its hard to ask to put the IL-2 37 @ br 2 because it absolutely shreds tanks (especially low br tanks)…funny you never see anyone doing it
But hey…if it ended up at 2

I agree, which is why I don’t mind if they make it premium.
it will probably be hard to use for the average player.
I think there are very few people on Enlisted who know that this is possible.
So, don’t you think we need a Top Gun training school for Enlisted players now, Drill Sergeant Myrm1don?

I think most people just prefer the bomb haha. Almost guaranteed with a lesser degree of accuracy.

I also prefer bombs and rockets (IL-2 1941 I use in all BR), but with current BR levels the 37 guns are only very effective against BR1-2 tanks. Even the possible KV1, T34, Panzer 4, Sherman are extremely difficult to destroy, let alone the BR 4-5 tanks. Honestly I already understood little sense of the fact that the IL-2-37 was originally deployed in Berlin if I remember correctly…I think that the Tank Bustesters with cannons would be a lot of fun in Moscow-Tunisia and would find their natural use there. In my opinion they are more BR2 than BR3.
I don’t think it will perform well in this game. It only has 2 37mm cannon with 12 round per cannon and 160 rpm.
It can perform well in War Thunder because you only need to target tank. But that is not the case for Enlisted. You need to counter infantry in Enlisted, but those 37mm are mediocre at strafing infantry due to the low rate of fire and low ammo count.
Meanwhile Germany has plenty of planes carrying 250kg bomb at low br, which is effective against both infantry and tank.
IL-2-37 has 2 37mm cannon that has more ammo and better rpm but less penetration, 2 7.62 mm machine gun and 2 100kg bombs. It is clearly better than Stuka G-2.

i noticed they have done that on a few aircraft. Increased their ammo pool.
