I wonder if we can have this in the game

Is this a real thing? Looks too cursed to be real

it does look awesome and StuG MBT concept seems fun, but the seats and positions are fixed in the StuG so this isnt possible without a major redesign, so I vote fake, but I want to see this thing in the next April´s fools event.

There is a reason they made PzIII with casemate (so StuG III) instead of normal, turreted PzIII with 7.5cm gun. Hint: it was too small.
Though I guess some crazy guy might have come up with such idea.

There are a lot of funny strange concepts across ww2 hobby models.
And this is obvious box cover of such model. You can literally see the 1:35 scale.

If you take a good look, you can see that there is no way for the driver to look out of the tank.
turret ring is actually turret box?
rotating commander´s copula is also weird isnt very functional, unless the whole fighting compartment is rotating, but how does the driver drive the tank than?
Its possible with modern technology if we automate most features and one guy controls like in WT, but this is too complicated to be worth it, just build Panthers tanks instead.

people named this thing the turtle tank, its weird but probably an innovative solution to one or multiple problems of the modern battlefields.

I wonder what (D) stands for. Because normally it’s a designation for country of origin. (If I didn’t confuse it with something else.)
Probably somebody just wrote a random letter because it looks “cool”.

Obviously, it stands for Deutschland :PPP

Oh my God! Danish Hetzer confirmed, we must add it to the game as a premium :scream:

It’s the Russian tankers battlefield solution to the Ukrainian flying drones carrying high explosive into the commander hatch or detonating it near the tank weak spots.

nah… it is just stug love :stuck_out_tongue:

Well my research has led me to believe yes this is indeed real

Though this was the only thing I could find cant tell you about history or why Germans were even thinking about it
These were supposed to be independent modifications so the army would evaluate them apparently but never reached anywhere
Edit 1: so after more research this is indeed an independent modification as on the right hand corner we see this

drawing are from St.Gesch. Lehrbrigade 920 which is unit and not a factory that means this would have been a field modification of StuG 3 and not an actual goverment approved thing

That’s very cool

I’m more for the leopard or German t34 copy instead

It’s still just some blueprint, probably sketched by some field engineer. I don’t think there’s really any need to give it any weight, especially when the Germans have so many other armored vehicles that could be added instead.
There are plenty of vehicles I’d rather see.

But as a curio, it’s cool to know.
