Strong bot...or weak human?

Just had a game in the Pacific where I blew up a Universal carrier with a TNT charge and survived while literally being on the charge, the game seems to work perfectly when it comes to explosives…

Guess there actually is a shrapnel mechanic in this game for TNT I guess…

your own AI do not get killed by the blast.

but you do.

reccomandations are, try to find a rock or hide behind a tree. and don’t forget to always prone.

your chances of survival will increase.

( p.s. it is weird dying at that distance though. so that’s quite the tnt )

TNT charges generate fragments with a 15m radius, and since they go up…

so you’re telling me TNT is more powerful than most HE shell? (one that for some reason wont kill even tho it like 3m next to a guy)

oh and as a stalingrad axis veteran the easiest way to dodge TNT is just to hide near anything from experience

your bot are immune to your and all friendly damage, just you can be killed by your own explosion, next time do as @ErikaKalkbrenner said if you dont want lose the soldier

You can just use the tank iself as cover, for tall ones going prone next to it will keep you safe, for some you might have to go aroundand go prone on the other side next to it

ye, this is the way.

if you are planning to get your self killed or die from the blast, sure.

but it’s far better to simply run back and find a ditch or a tree to prone behind.

because it’s safer.

Being prone is overall very OP. Many times I’ve had something explode next to me without any cover. But because I was lying down, it just didn’t kill me.

So if you see red bomb icon near or something, it’s always better to just prone no matter what. Even if there’s not any cover.

yea i always do that even 500kg bomb cant do anything even if it 15m away from you (did this plenty of time as jap work 75% most of the time)

I love killing stuff like all Stuart derivatives simply by sticking TNT to the side of it on its fuel tanks and just running to the other side of it before triggering it
99% of the time I’m perfectly fine

guess you’re the lucky fella finding tanks on their own with no infantry around them.

because most of the tanks that i destroy have some infantry around.

so it’s much safer to cover your self from the position you came to survive the blast and not get shot by trying to climb or go around.

not to mention, proning under the tnt placed on the side of the tank it’s not guarantee you’ll survive.

Bots usually ignore me because I make sure not to shoot them unless I have to + coming from weird angles + overal cheesing with their vision
I guess new ones might be a bit different? But I havent really gotten that much trouble with it so far
