Strengthen the connection between BRs and maps

During the campaigns, the best tank in the Pacific was the M8 Scott. And there were no auto rifles or other high-BR laser guns. As you can imagine, this was very useful for maps that are shot from end to end and contain millions of hills with bushes in gray zones. After the campaigns were merged, these maps were flooded with all the splendor of high-BR automatics, capable of obliterating all living things at any distance with one clamp, tanks with powerful HE shells and, OH HORROR, the Thunderbolt. However, recently they added much less open Burma maps, which are better suited for high BRs. However, at low BRs, Burma is a paradise for camperc*nts with bolt-action rifles.

My suggestion is to make the Pacific maps only for low BRs, and the Burma maps only for high BR.

There are no same balance issues with the Eastern Front maps (thank God there are no Moscow maps at high BRs yet), but a fair number of players (including me) are mortally annoyed by the king tigers or IS-2 in Stalingrad. They simply destroy the rest of the atmosphere. And recently, Schwalbe and SU-9 joined this shitshow.

In the current update, the Eastern Front got a new map - Wald. Maybe this diversity is enough to remove high BRs from Stalingrad and Rzhev?

Strongly disagree. Burma is the only good Allies VS Japan map. PLEASE dont limit it to high BR only.

Total nonsense.

Disagree if you wish but I stand by my opinion.

The Pacific (or rather certain region of the Solomon Islands) maps look great… but they suck as FPS maps.

Also understand that we’ve been playing the same old same old maps for years now so obviously one gets tired of them. At least Germany has a variety in scenery.

It doesnt help that any ‘new’ Pacific maps (prior to Burma) used existing assets and the same geographical location so they really didnt stick out as memorable and are just lost in The Usual Suspects.

Burma is a great map, I quite enjoy it and appreciate the unique location, desperately needed variety and different playstyles.
Eg urban warfare, villages, semi jungle warfare, just lots more variety within that single map then there is in entire Pacific maps.

Im just really disappointed we waited years and only got ONE Burma map. :frowning:

Please make it dark with occasional flares, the kind that deployed barely in time to illuminate bunch of japanese sappers cutting your fences causing massive firefight to erupt (I watched too many The Pacific)

Manchuria. Khalkhin Gol is a pre-war setting, and the game has not yet left the time frame of the WWII setting (Lol, Su-9!). In addition, Khalkhin Gol is literally a field with stones 4. This will not play well. Manchuria is much more interesting in this regard.
