Maybe you forgot to aim for the cheeks, the most notorious weak point of the t 34 in the game
Author is whining … mimimiim T34 OP russian BIAS etc … we know the arguments … in reality german often need to use 88mm stationnary gun to kill the T34 … so the T34 is good but not unvulnerable … skill issue like always
In reality, T34 were so crappy that the front armor wasnt able to hold against 50mm shots.

in reality, T34 was maded in different factories with different standards (STZ, UTZ, KhPZ), so some used rivets and others were fully welded
That is why you can find highly contrasted information that rivets could neutralize the crew, as well as Heinz Guderian himself saying that the T-34 was a supperior machine, von Kleist saying “the best tank of the world”

Im yet to see any report which says that it was the best tank ever… unless they dont really consider the soft factors but just focus on “wow sloped armor”. The massive loss ratio is also not worth to mention I guess. Every second T-34 was destroyed by an Panzer III.
Otherwise you could also just call Panthers and Tiger best tanks since those things are as reliable as old T-34s but better mid-late war armor and cannons.

I know clearly that the Sherman is the best tank of the war, but it cannot be denied that the T-34 was a nasty surprise for the Germans, especially in 1941.

Doesnt mean t34 should be invincible, which it wasnt considering kill / loss ratio.
Yeah, but these are early statements and the shock wasn’t that long otherwise the Germans would have never made it to Moscow (outskirts). And if the Germans were that afraid of it after even their Panzer IIIs killed chunks of them, then its just another reason why they were too dumb to win the war.
Well. I dont wanna say which tank is the best but I dont see any reason why calling the early T-34s… actually any T-34 model before the 85 model the best tank just because the Germans had a shock for a few weeks or months at best/ because it was the best tanks for the Soviets. We can talk about the 85 though.

The sherman cheap as the t34 with the lowest crew causalities of the war and able in later version to do a one v one aganaist german big cat
why not take the good old analogue here:
ppsh high rof and a lot of bullets = bad because waste of bullets > nagant revolver very low rof and very low on bullets = amazing
t34 bad because of stalinium armor gives false feeling of invurenarbility = bad → Pz2 best tank in the game because no armor
BF110 no armor and no rockets = very good because need to be accurate with (2)50kg bombs →
IL-2 very bad because shit ton of mega-armor, rockets and bombs
So soviets clearly suffer very much already.
