Stop putting BR3 in with BR2

BR’s should be “hardlocked” as they call it, before everyone flees due to bad decision making.

Agreed. Should be something along the lines of BR1-2, BR3-4, BR5. Trouble with that, is I imagine you wouldn’t get enough people playing BR5 on it’s own, but maybe so. I don’t really know the player numbers when broken down like that.

I desagree.

I’m playing BR2 with my Russian’s, and no problem to deal with german br3 stuff

And… Sometimes There is a server bug and I fought inside Berlin’s ruins against BR4 Germans. I funished in the top 3 with my poors Bolt action riffles and the Russian’s wins !

I dislike uptiers as well which is why I never play BR4, but 50% is decent especially since not all of your enemies are BR3 and even those players are not pure BR3, there are many players that only have Panzer IV J/M1 garand/IL-2 or something that was easy to to get pre-merge.

You are only complaining about not getting to farm new players, if you don’t want uptiers, go play BR5.

I got all amped up the other day when I figured out that my level 2 Germans were in a level 5 match, and I was getting my ass kicked. So after getting pissed cussing DF, I realized that I had changed my medic squad to Kiraly’s to use in some BR5 matches and forgot to change them back when I reinstalled them into my level 2 lineup. So, that one was on me. :grimacing:

The only faction I have a problem with DF uptiering is my level 3 Allies, as I don’t seem to get uptiered with any other faction.

Lots of people moved to BR2/BR3 because of the event Puma

then if you do not like it stop just pressing join any, you do know the point is to balance games. to replace people who left games or never joined that means a higher present of uptiers. you are touching a hot stove and getting angry at the stove, a turn the stove of or b do not touch it. that is why the q time is lower and the reward higher. they are matches people do not want to join. its join any not free boost to rewards fun button.

I didn’t say I don’t like “join any army” - I’ve done it like 500 times, that isn’t the point I’m making. And having played that many times, I know for a fact that it’s not to replace people who played uptiered and abandoned the game. Frankly, I like the “join any army” option a lot, though it’s not perfect, the pros outweigh the cons.

I HAVE joined a few games late - typically while playing Japan - though, that having happened perhaps 1% of the time, I chalk that up to typical MM craziness.

You were not wrong until your last sentence.

On that last sentence - I’d thought more of you based on your previous posts. Opinion updated.

Have had that happen before, no doubt! Particularly when grabbing a new unit (or getting it in an event) and not paying attention and going, “WTF!” - and then realizing what happened (since DF just sticks new units in your selection whether you want it or not!)

I haven’t seen a pattern in the uptiering except that it’s happened a lot more the past week or two.

how, how do you know, and what do you think its purpose is

I put in my post that I’ve played 500 games of “join any game” and if it was set up simply to replace people who have dropped out, I would have been put in already started games far more often than 5 times out of 500. Devs do not code things for it to only happen 1% of the time unless it’s a drop-box or something. Juice not worth the squeeze and all that.

The purpose was as the Devs stated when they released this new mode of play - to encourage competition, improve match making, make match making faster, reward more silver and research, reduce research times, etc.

Their exact quote was:

DYNAMIC BONUS FOR “JOIN ANY TEAM”

Many of you noted that the planned 20% boost to experience and Silver when opting to play with a random country is insufficient - primarily because it does not compensate for the potentially higher chance of defeat.

We have taken this into account, and now you will receive 20% bonus Silver and experience for winning (combined with the 50% for victory, so the reward multiplier will be calculated using this formula: 1.2 x 1.5 = 1.8), and 50% bonus for losing (reward multiplier: 1.5).

In the future, we may increase this bonus as a temporary event if the game needs more players on a random side.

DF uses bots to replace people who abandon the match.

and how do you think they reduce q time, by putting people into qs they do not want to be in, what qs do people not want to be in, q type one a que for an unpopular nation japan (cough), q b an uptiered q

DF uses bots to replace people who abandon the match. (at first but over time bots are replaced by people)

Have you played “join any game” for any significant amount of time?

yes i have in fact i have started playing almost all join any games (why) that would not change anything join any is not a magic button. join any gives greater rewards to get people to join games that are more likely to lead to a loss.

join unpopular faction (cough japan cough), fight against a side with stacks, fight on a side with more bots, fight in a game that already start on a loosing team ect. it is not a reward cause they like you.

No one said it was a magic button. And “join any” gives greater rewards…PERIOD. Whether you win or lose, you get more rewards. It’s not an incentive to join a match that you’d otherwise lose in.

I most definitely end up in more games playing as the Japanese - than I used to, and they are more common - at least right now - than they were when it first started. When they first released this mode, at least playing on the NA server in prime time, I played far more German than I did anything else.

You see, I’ve actually tracked my games since this game mode switched. I take screenshots of about 90% of my games, and kept profile screenshots as well, from when it started. That’s how I KNOW I’ve played over 500 games with this mode, as I haven’t played ANY games w/out the box checked off since it did.

It’s also why I know it’s not “designed” to fill up matches that have had people drop out. For one thing, far more often than not, I’m dropped into a game where I can see that neither side has a full roster yet.

Oh, and FWIW, I’ve also been on the winning side in 80% of my matches as Japan.

a full roster is not required for people to have dropped out, if their name is bright they are in the game, if it is dimmed they have dropped the game, i have seen many games with half the names dim without it being a full roster. without proof from the game company neither of us is going to give in. second br = +1 - 1 is the best we are going to get a plus 30% new players is not enough for five locked tiers, and uptiering br3 every game while only donwtiering br 2, no just no this is not a seal clubbing simulator.

I’ve given you data and company quotes, you give assumptions. But, I fully accept that you won’t “give-in” even with quotes from the company.

But you’re okay with BR3 being in games with BR2 and BR1. You’re a confusing dude.

if br2 can club down on br1 then br3 can club br2 and yes its all clubbing, second trust me bro is not data, third where did it say you are not filling under served/filled q to decrease q times or how they are. in fact it said they are adding people to games they are more likely to loose and encouraging them to do so by increasing rewards. why if you win you get 150% rewards so one would join a game they would likely loose without some boost to rewards. without watching a large number of random game for you or someone its hard to be scientific. did you join a loosing game only to turn the balance and carry the team ? anyways i am done.

Ain’t that hard to beat III’s as II
