Announcement clearly says that it “may” appear rather than will. At least it says so in russian, perhaps not stated in eng version. Pretty sure it will stay as a Stalingrad only feature, im still against that tho, even if only for one campaign
Totally agree with the OP - based thread.
Shot dispersion needs to be removed and replaced with recoil to the rigging of the arms. Add weight for these weapons which the heavier it is, the more slow it can be to aim down sight. Enlisted sort of does this, but not to an extent I would like. So instead of creating a system where people can master a weapon with enough time, the developers would rather hide hidden values to how bullets leave your weapon.
Remove shot dispersion, period. Introduce player model based recoil and realistic aiming speeds.
And yes, don’t nurf something that doesn’t need to be nurffed. I’m too tired to keep saying this.
Shotgun-Nerf
MG-Nerf
Semi-Auto-Nerf
maybe SMGs but onlyin Stalingrad they say
Nerf Vitality then no Gun needs to die.
Point of a Gun
1will Kill You
2will stop You
3Enlisted goes brrrrrrrr Enemy dont die and give you 720 NoScopeJumpSpinningH34D5H0T
Dispersion is a thing in reality, there’s no need to completely remove it. It just shouldn’t be used as a crutch for “fixing” balance. There are lots of other ways of making weapons less accurate. They even could have made an instersting skill-based mechanic out of it. Still, different weapons have different accuracy, that has to be represented.
dispersion in real life is different, as the bullet travels it does change a little its direction but in enlisted the issue is that bullets exit the barrel of the gun at impossible angles
There are many good points made in this thread, buffing bolt actions first should have and would have fixed the issue of other guns not needing nerfs.
Bolt actions just need a bit more damage at closer ranges and even far ranges. No dispersion on bolt actions, idk why a sniper bolt action of the same gun as less dispersion than a non scoped version (ex. K98.) Also for some absolutely no idea if a bot (even if it’s your bot) and a human player (possibly other bots too) finishes them off after getting downed the bot won’t score a kill.
that actually makes sense, the rifles designated for snipers, had higher quality barrels and where some times made separately from the rest, or were selected for their exceptional accuracy to be converted to sniper rifles, in some cases this rifles had their own furniture that allowed to mount a scope, where as the regular production ones didn’t got a port to mount a scope.
In this game, most weapons have from 10x to 50x more dispersion than IRL.
you never played cod, did you
So are you justifying dispersion here?
not entirely but calling it bad is exaggerated considering that many mainstream or f2p titles use a higher dispersion and damage reduction model even worse that in enlisted, probably in stalingrad with the new shooting system maybe the dev have resolved this
That was exactly my point.
If someone is bringing a boltie into CQC, they’re not using their head or they got ambushed.
Personally, I try to stay about 100 meters away if I’m running a bolt-action, unless I’ve got sidearms on all of my riflemen. Then I might be more aggressive, with one finger hovering over the ‘3’ key
