It is annoying, and it needs to stop. There is no reason for it since, no matter what, you have to play ten games of Enlisted, so why can’t I do it in single-player?
At least I know the majority of my team are actual humans in the game, and I don’t have to see a bunch of Chinese sweat lords with their stupid death squads.
I mean, squad is the main mode of the game. Alongside that, using custom matches can easily lead to people simply abusing it for the sake of helping each other complete tasks
So draining what little of our sanity and limited player base that we have left is a better option than ?

I like this game but I hate what public matches have turned into it’s fast-paced lunacy in BR5

that was put in because people abused customs for xp farming for the record
Does it matter since you have to play ten whole games? Also, who? Guilds and clans? You know good and well the average player in a Lone Fighter match cares less about his teammate than the next.
I’m fairly confident the entire point of these events is to increase the player count in the main game…

If I’m being cynical they’re just showing off to investor saying the game is very popular when in reality we’re all in Stockholm syndrome grinding event.
I’m getting tired of the game, the event only make it worse.
I know about that, it’s called a group of people with the common goal of cheesing the event, a custom match (aka where lone fighters is) can have a group just all join it and farm each other for the tasks
Like getting into squads in the regular event? You act like doing squad mode provides a different outcome for people who are focused on cheesing. What do you think people were doing in the engineering event last year when their ammo boxes had to be used fifty times by other players?

A group could easily get all 3 of those done in a custom match, while in a normal squads match, you’d have to wait for enemies to spawn vehicles, making only 2 easy to do in a match
Which you have to do in custom matches as well. What are you thinking exactly?

Honestly, if they just made an official standing Lone Fighter server (where a new one opens when its full) that could be used for event completion, I would have no problem with it. I’d actually like to see it for Squads too …
Could even use them for BR queue locking or alternate BR matchmaking:
Official Event Lone Fighter - BR I-II
Official Event Lone Fighter - BR III-IV
Official Event Lone Fighter - BR V
Official Event Squad - BR I-II
Official Event Squad - BR III-IV
Official Event Squad - BR V
By having them as Official Standing for events that would give DF some control within them as well.
