Stop giving paratrooper crate weapon 2x ammo, let them resupply in the create instead

Anyone who has played paratroopers knows that the weapons taken out of the box by paratroopers will have twice the ammunition, resulting in the soldier holding 12 Panzerfaust or 20 80MM mortar shells.

The change I would suggestion is that paratroopers no longer get twice the ammo for their secondary weapons, but can return to weapon crate to resupplies all their weapon including AT and mortar.

Air drop supplies works likes a personal large ammo crate, ATs and mortars will consume the supplies in the box at a high rate, while small arms still have nearly unlimited supplies.

You think it’s “fine” cause it serve for fast paced gameplay.
Click once and the automatic goes brrrrt… no need for any other action even it’s not complicated.
Am I right?

Maybe your idea is good for BR II gameplay paratroopers butr not BR V

I’m still a fan of stripping paratroopers entirely of extra ammo and ways to obtain the extra ammo other than ammo crates built by engineers or radio dropped crates. They should only get what the base weapon holds if they need more ammo they can build an ammo crate. They have the ability to become an engineer with a hammer or become a radio operator and air drop a crate. I think it’d be better to start adding to more of the paratrooper subclasses instead of invalidating their capabilities by locking their ammo to a subclass drop crate. If they survive and have to push objectives they’re going to lose their capability of the extra ammo anyway.

I’m still waiting for a more customizable loadout, that way you can have one in every single BR for every single nation. May never come but one can dream.

Dude, this is obviously an issue, what are you smoking?

My paratroopers are usually dead before I can open the crate anyway.

Paratroopers need to quickly sneak into the rear area full of enemies, and the enemy with normal thinking would simply not let go of these risks of falling from the sky.
In this state, the paratroopers don’t have much chance to build.

therefore
Giving double ammunition only gives paratroopers better suppression and survivability, which is very reasonable.

unless
You or your teammates voluntarily or allow friendly forces or yourself to be slaughtered by these units for a long time

Then I think it shouldn’t be a problem with the enemy.

They really don’t give you much, if any room to drop behind enemy lines.

I noticed a lot of the times when you’re defending an area you’ve only got 50 or so meters until the gray zone. In my personal opinion that is way too small of an area it should be at least 70 to 80. And that should work in the reverse direction as well This way paratroopers can drop in a little bit wider of a area behind enemy lines. It’s not fun when the closest place you can drop to the gray zone is immediately behind the objective. That’s just asking for an enemy to look up when they see your crate fall.

That’s usually the telltale sign and that’s how I squad wipe paratroopers, As soon as I see the crate fall I look up and see six guys floating slowly in the air at that point I pull a machine gun or AR out and kill all six of them before they even bother getting with a 100m of the ground. I honestly think the paratrooper box should fall a few seconds later than it does so it winds up hitting the ground just before the paratroopers making it so there’s more of a surprise that there’s someone there unless somebody is actively watching the sky. That should help increase their survivability and reduce the dependence on ammo making them a more strategic unit.

This way maybe adjusting the ammo to where they can get ammo just like any other soldier and don’t get any extra ammo would be a bit more practical. I can understand a primary weapon but not mortars or anti-tank nothing in the secondary slot should get extra ammo. If that needs to be refilled it could be refilled from an ammo box built by an engineer or a supply drop crate from a radio op just like every other soldier in the game.
