Stop giving deserter penalty for connection issue

Connection issue should be exempt from penalty.
If you worry about player desert by removing network cable.
You should rethink why the game makes people want to desert even with such a inconvenient method.

Yeah so people with connection issue deserve a penalty because closeing network may be abuse by deserter?
Fix the game, not seeking problem on players

And It takes a network interface to connect a PC to WIFI

honestly I just take the penalty when I play against Russia. It’s not as bad as getting slaughtered every 2 seconds

Should be exempt, however the Dev’s don’t have enough technical ability to create a bot above that of a mentally challenged child, so for them to have the knowledge to create a system that recognizes why your game was suspended is totally above their paygrade. :wink:

Besides, that would take time away from the important things they do, like make blood stains look better and creating a better desertion screen. :smile:

You know, you can join a custom match, and your very first dude can spawn the exact second you see and hear the message, “We took to many casualties, we lost this battle”, and still get the loss recorded on your win loss percentage, yet having never playing a single second of the game. So, if they can’t design a system that can tell whether you actually played or not, we are grasping at straws to their actual tech skills. :no_good_man:

Well, I’m 61 years old and come from the “not everything offends me” era, and we used to call the mentally challenged “retarded” back in my day, but I didn’t want to offend any of the easily offended patrons of the forum. :rofl: However, the bots in this game are along those lines.

Well at least in Australia, we still call people retards. That might change though with Gen Z…

I swear as soon as the words “German”, “Buff” , “Soviet” and “Bias” are mentioned, especially together, the whole forum collectively loses their shit. I have never seen people get so agitated and defensive over a video game in my entire life.

I would say at times the AI makes “mentally challenged persons” look like Einstein.

I am an extrovert with ADHD, which is not always a great combination. :joy: I think anyone who has read a lot of my forum posts or responses realizes I speak my mind. I am at times very critical of Gaijin and their business decisions, however managing business for a couple decades will do that. I don’t like to spar with other forum members, and as long as they are respectful, I try to always be respectful, but if I sense disrespect, well, I can be disrespectful right back. :no_good_man: Unfortunately in the US you can hardly have a discussion anymore between two people who don’t 100% agree with each other without someone being offended or irritated. Fortunately, I put my time in and retired early to the Philippines so I don’t have to deal with easily offended people in person, just on social media. :rofl:

it is extremely easy to simulate connection issues.
disable/enable ethernet port/wifi
router connect/disconnect
block game in firewall.

if you think that people would not do that to avoid penalty, then you are gravely mistaken.
